The domain is useful as a clue in hindsight because SEGA links to it as the official website. The official pages cited here do not establish when fans discovered it, document its registration history or say that activity around the domain prompted the reveal. The confirmed announcement—not the domain theory—is what makes the remake real.

At the 2025 reveal, P-Studio director Kazuhisa Wada said, “We are confident that this will be a fresh and surprising product for both newcomers and long-time fans and we look forward to sharing it with you all.” That is the studio director’s stated aim, rather than a verdict on the finished game. Which editions are listed, and what do they include?
Edition names, formats, prices and availability are market-specific. SEGA’s June 2026 English product information lists standard physical and digital editions, a physical limited box, and digital Deluxe and Premium editions. It gives prices in Japanese yen and says the PS5 version is available physically. The Japanese product page additionally lists a physical Switch 2 version.
Limited box
SEGA lists the limited box with a physical base game, designer box, Midnight Channel phone pouch, exclusive T-shirt, 48-page artbook and in-game costume set. The publisher says quantities are limited and warns that development images and contents may change. Check the regional product page for current availability and final contents. Digital editions and regional details
The English announcement names Deluxe and Premium as digital editions, while the Japanese page lists Japanese-market editions and preorder information. Yen prices and preorder cutoffs on that page should not be treated as global pricing or as a guarantee that an edition remains available. Compare the platform, physical or digital format, included collectibles or digital bonuses, market and current availability before choosing.
