Persona 5: The Phantom X is adding Persona 3 Reload characters Mitsuru Kirijo and Fuuka Yamagishi through its ongoing crossover program. Community update summaries place Mitsuru in version 4.6.1 and Fuuka in version 4.6.2, but those banner details remain secondary reports until the notice for your region appears in the game. Check the in-game announcements for the dates, duration, summon rules and server availability that apply to your account.
What the crossover is
Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) is a free-to-play role-playing game for iOS, Android, Google Play Games and Steam. Its service began on June 26, 2025, and the game uses in-app item purchases. The title is operated as a live service, so collaboration characters arrive through time-limited content rather than as permanent additions to the starting roster.
Persona 3 Reload is the modern remake of Persona 3. Its official character material identifies Mitsuru Kirijo and Fuuka Yamagishi as members of that game’s cast. SEGA and ATLUS have publicly acknowledged a P3R crossover in P5X, and an additional official news update describes original P3R event content and reruns in the live game. That makes this a continuing crossover program, not merely an advertising appearance.

| Character | Reported P5X version | Reported banner | What is confirmed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mitsuru Kirijo | 4.6.1 | “The Fine Blade of Frozen Winter,” with increased availability for Mitsuru | Community preview summary; verify the regional in-game notice |
| Fuuka Yamagishi | 4.6.2 | “The All-Seeing Eyes,” with increased availability for Fuuka | Community preview summary; verify the regional in-game notice |
Neither report establishes a single worldwide start date, an identical banner length on every server, or the exact point at which either character becomes obtainable in every edition. The authoritative information for a player is the event notice shown inside P5X, including its countdown and server designation.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to get Mitsuru or Fuuka in P5X
- Update the game. Install the current P5X client from your platform’s normal store or launcher. An outdated client may not display the event or its summon tab.
- Open the in-game notices. From the title screen or main lobby, read the event announcement for your server. Confirm the character name, version, start and end times, and whether the notice labels the event as a crossover rerun or an original run.
- Open the matching summon banner. Select the banner named in the notice—Mitsuru’s reported banner is “The Fine Blade of Frozen Winter,” while Fuuka’s reported banner is “The All-Seeing Eyes”—only after confirming that it is active in your region.
- Review the rules before spending currency. The notice should state the summon currency, featured rate, guarantee or pity counter, carry-over treatment and any exchange rules. These details are not established by the available preview summaries and should not be assumed from another banner.
- Check your result and inventory. After a pull, use the summon history and character screen to verify whether the featured unit was obtained. Keep screenshots or the in-game record if a result does not appear correctly, then use the game’s support route.
What each character represents
Mitsuru Kirijo
Mitsuru is one of Persona 3’s defining characters and is officially part of the Persona 3 Reload cast. In P5X, the reported 4.6.1 event presents her as the featured crossover character on a limited banner. The available announcement summaries do not provide verified combat statistics, skill values or a definitive team role, so players should rely on the character preview and trial stage in their own regional notice rather than extrapolating from Persona 3 Reload.
Fuuka Yamagishi
Fuuka is also an official Persona 3 Reload character. Community coverage places her featured availability in version 4.6.2 under “The All-Seeing Eyes.” Persona 3 Reload’s characterization explains why she is recognizable to returning fans, but it does not determine her P5X abilities. Her combat function, rarity, equipment requirements and banner guarantees must be read from the P5X details screen.

- There is no single confirmed global date covering every P5X server.
- The reported version numbers do not, by themselves, prove that every platform receives the banner simultaneously.
- Banner duration, pity thresholds, guarantee wording, currency cost and whether pity carries to a rerun are not established here.
- A rerun is possible because official P5X news confirms that P3R event content has returned, but no specific future rerun date for Mitsuru or Fuuka is confirmed.
How to plan without wasting pulls
Save only after checking the active notice’s expiration time and the banner’s exact guarantee text. If you are choosing between the two characters, compare the role descriptions, trial performance and team requirements shown in P5X rather than assuming that Persona 3 Reload story roles map directly to P5X combat roles. Players on multiple devices should sign in to the same account before pulling, because platform access does not by itself confirm that progress or event availability is shared across regions. Finally, treat any countdown in the notice as decisive: community preview dates can be superseded by maintenance changes or regional scheduling.
Why the crossover matters
The collaboration connects P5X’s Persona 5 setting with the remake’s updated presentation of Persona 3. Official statements describe protagonists from both series meeting in the crossover, while the later confirmation of original events and reruns shows that the collaboration can expand over time. For players, the practical result is a rotating way to obtain familiar Persona 3 Reload characters inside a separate free-to-play game—provided the relevant limited banner is live on their server.
