How to compare balls in PGA TOUR 2K23
Use the attribute information displayed for each available ball in-game. The key question is which boost you want and whether its associated penalty is acceptable for the way you play. 2K has not published a complete ball-by-ball stat table or official ranking, so there is not enough verified information to name one option as best overall—or to identify a specific ball as best for distance or spin.

What a Golf Ball Sleeve does
2K Support describes a Golf Ball Sleeve as a temporary consumable boost, and says rarer sleeves provide a better boost. The PGA TOUR 2K23 Edition FAQ does not specify every sleeve’s exact attribute effect or duration, so check the in-game details rather than assuming how long a boost lasts or what it changes. A Sleeve is an in-game item, not a physical package of golf balls.

Why there is no universal best ball
The published rule is a trade-off: an optional ball improves some attributes and gives up others. Which side matters more depends on what you want from your setup, and the official sources do not provide the full values needed for a verified ranking. Real-world ball brands, construction and prices should not be used to infer PGA TOUR 2K23 stats.
2K’s PGA TOUR 2K23 site points players to HB Studios guides on ball physics and generating spin, which can help with gameplay technique; it does not rank the game’s ball choices.
