Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled to launch on October 29, 2026, according to S-Game. PlayStation lists October 28 for the US and select regions, and Steam lists October 28 for PC. The action RPG is announced for PlayStation 5 and PC, so the claim that it still has no release date is out of date.

S-Game’s official site lists October 29, 2026. PlayStation’s August 2026 gameplay announcement says October 28 applies in the US and select regions, while the Steam listing gives October 28 for PC. The displayed date therefore depends on platform and region; check the store listing for your location closer to launch.

Which platforms will get Phantom Blade Zero?
The announced platforms are PlayStation 5 and PC. Steam identifies S-GAME Studio as developer and S-GAME Publishing as publisher. The official US PlayStation listing documents DualSense adaptive triggers and haptic feedback support on PS5; a compatible controller feature is optional, not a stated requirement.

What kind of game is Phantom Blade Zero?
S-Game describes Phantom Blade Zero as a dark wuxia action RPG built with Unreal Engine 5. It blends martial-arts action with fantasy, folk horror and the studio’s “Kungfupunk” label, setting the adventure in a stylized martial world called the Wulin or Phantom World.
Soul’s 66-day deadline
You play as Soul, a swordsman framed for murdering his master. A fatal wound leaves him with sixty-six days to live, and he uses that time to investigate the conspiracy behind the accusation. The deadline gives the story its central urgency.
Combat, weapons and exploration
PlayStation’s August 2026 deep dive describes customizable combat setups, exploration, and side quests that can open story paths. The same developer/platform-holder materials advertise more than 30 main weapons and 25 secondary weapons called Phantom Edges. Those are official feature counts, not independently tested measurements.
What did the new trailer reveal?
PlayStation announced an extended pre-order trailer on August 11, 2026, then followed it with a dedicated gameplay State of Play on August 17. The first post framed the trailer as a glimpse rather than a complete explanation of the game’s systems. Soulframe Liang, S-Game’s founder and CEO, wrote: “Today’s new extended trailer isn’t enough to cover our intricate gameplay systems, dynamic combat, and the dark wuxia land we call the Phantom World.”

The official US PlayStation store page lists a Standard Edition for $59.99 and a Digital Deluxe Edition for $69.99. These are listed US prices and may change. The Deluxe Edition includes the full game, two appearances, a digital art book and a digital soundtrack.
The listed pre-order bonuses are the Treasure Basin accessory and Legacy appearance. PlayStation says both can also be obtained through in-game progression. The official pages reviewed document digital editions and digital Deluxe extras; they do not confirm a physical disc, printed art book, physical soundtrack or collector’s edition.
