Piragill is a small Leviathan in Monster Hunter Wilds, found in the Scarlet Forest. It hunts in packs, and its fins are materials for in-game armor and charms.
Where to find Piragill
Piragill primarily inhabits the Scarlet Forest. PowerPyx lists its habitat broadly as “Forest,” while the Gamer Guides database names the Scarlet Forest.
Game8’s search-result listing places Piragill in Scarlet Forest areas 9, 10, and 13, and names the optional quest “A Sharp Sort.” Because the underlying page could not be reviewed, treat those area numbers and the quest as leads rather than a confirmed route; check the in-game map and quest list.
How Piragill behaves
Piragill is a pack hunter. The in-game description reproduced by PowerPyx says: “As a pack, they work together to surround prey, but since most Piragill are too timid to make the kill, they usually wait for an opening and lunge all at once.” The description also warns that Piragill are fast in water. Watch for several of them closing in together rather than treating each one as an isolated attacker.
