Where can you play Rise of Cultures?
InnoGames lists Rise of Cultures for browser, iOS and Android. Its support page says the browser version works on PC, Mac and most devices that support modern web browsers. The support page lists Android 7.1.1 or later and iOS 13 or later as minimums; these requirements can change, so check the current device and account guidance before installing.
- Browser: Play on a PC or Mac using a modern web browser.
- Mobile: Get the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
How to sync progress between mobile and browser
InnoGames support says progress can sync between mobile and browser after you set up an account. The key is to sign in to the browser region that matches your account: Rise of Cultures has AM and EU browser regions, and an account should not be assumed to work in either one interchangeably.
- Check your region. On browser, identify AM or EU from the address. Support also says the first two characters of your player identifier indicate the region.
- Register account credentials in the mobile game. If you started on mobile, use the game settings to register an email address and password.
- Open the matching browser region and sign in. Use the same credentials and choose the region that corresponds to your player identifier.
- Switch between platforms using that account. Support describes progress as synced once the account is set up.

What does free to play mean?
The game can be played without paying, but purchases are an optional part of the game. InnoGames puts it this way: “Rise of Cultures is free to play without restrictions. However, players may choose to make in-game purchases.” The publisher’s official game page describes the free-to-play offer; it does not mean that every optional item or currency is free.

What kind of game is Rise of Cultures?
InnoGames categorizes Rise of Cultures as a city-building strategy game featuring historic cultures and characters. Its official description says players develop settlements, progress through eras, research, explore, trade culture-specific goods, form alliances and take part in strategic PvE battles. Those are publisher-described features; they do not establish how the game feels in practice, or how its pacing, balance or difficulty will suit an individual player.

If you want a historic city builder and are comfortable with optional purchases in a free-to-play game, you can try it through a browser or mobile app without paying to access the game. Choose browser for PC or Mac access and mobile for playing on a supported phone or tablet; if you want to move between them, set up account credentials and match the browser region first. The available official descriptions explain the feature set, but do not provide independent evidence about gameplay quality.
