The PlayStation Plus monthly games for December 2025 were LEGO Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, The Outlast Trials, SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada and Neon White. Sony said members could add them starting December 2. Calling the lineup a “rough start” is an opinion in TechYorker’s headline, not a verified measure of subscriber sentiment.
Which games were in the December 2025 PS Plus lineup?
Sony announced five monthly games, with platform availability differing by title:

Sony’s November 26, 2025 announcement said the games could be added beginning December 2, 2025. That date has passed, so this is a historical lineup, not a claim that the games are still available to add.
Why was the lineup called a “rough start”?
TechYorker used the phrase in its January 4, 2026 headline. The material available from that page does not establish that subscribers broadly disliked the lineup: it offers no named poll, attributable subscriber comments, or other method showing that its characterization represents members generally. Treat “rough start” as the outlet’s assessment, not a measured consensus.
#1 Best Overall
- Redeem for anything on PlayStationStore: games, add-ons, PlayStationPlus and more.
- Everything you want to play. Choose from the largest library of PlayStation content.
- Use gift card funds to contribute towards PlayStationPlus memberships.
Sony’s announcement described the offer as a “special” lineup and noted bonus titles for PS Plus members in select regions. That is Sony’s promotional wording, not independent evidence of the games’ quality or reception. The announcement does not establish that every bonus title was available in every region.
What was the deadline for November’s games?
Sony said members could add November’s Stray, EA Sports WRC 24 and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator through December 1, 2025. That was the final day to add those monthly games under the stated offer.

Are these the same as the December Game Catalog additions?
No. Monthly games and the Game Catalog are distinct PlayStation Plus benefits. Sony describes Essential as including monthly games updated at the beginning of each month; Extra and Premium add access to game catalogs. A separate December 10, 2025 Game Catalog announcement listed titles including Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and Skate Story. Those catalog additions should not be counted among the five December monthly games.
