The first three were available June 3–30; The Final Shape arrived May 30. Sony’s Days of Play sale ran May 28–June 11, 2025, with a large selection of discounted PlayStation Store games. June 2025 PlayStation Plus Monthly Games
Sony calls these the Monthly Games. “Free” is common shorthand, but access required an active PlayStation Plus membership and remained subject to Sony’s plan, regional, and availability terms. The official announcement described the games but did not provide independent reviews or comparative quality assessments.

Days of Play 2025 discounted games
The PlayStation Store promotion ran May 28 through June 11, 2025. Sony called its announcement list a preview and directed players to the Store promotion page for the full selection and regional pricing. The publisher’s examples were:
| Game and edition | Discount Sony listed | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 – Cross-Gen Bundle | 45% off | Sony’s listed example for the 2025 promotion; regional price and availability could vary. |
| WWE 2K25 Standard Edition | 30% off | Sony’s listed example for the 2025 promotion; regional price and availability could vary. |
| Astro Bot | 17% off | Sony’s listed example for the 2025 promotion; regional price and availability could vary. |
| The Last of Us Part II Remastered | 20% off | Sony’s listed example for the 2025 promotion; regional price and availability could vary. |
Those percentages were Sony’s examples, not a discount rate applying to every game or every territory. Its broader list included titles such as A Plague Tale: Innocence, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Alan Wake 2, ANIMAL WELL, Astro Bot, Balatro, BioShock: The Collection, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and WWE 2K25. Inclusion in that list does not establish an identical discount for each title. For the original announcement and its caveats, see Sony’s PlayStation Store sale post.

Hardware and membership offers were also part of the event
Days of Play was not limited to digital games. Sony announced selected regional and retailer-dependent hardware and accessory discounts, including $50 USD off PS5 Pro and PlayStation VR2 (including the Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle), $30 USD off Pulse Explore wireless earbuds and DualSense Edge, $20 USD off the Access controller, and $20 USD off a DualSense wireless controller. These are historical 2025 promotional amounts, not current prices.
Sony also advertised savings of up to 33% on selected 12-month PlayStation Plus memberships for new or upgrading customers. Eligible current Essential or Extra members could save 33% on the remaining membership term when upgrading to Premium/Deluxe. Eligibility, tiers, and discounts varied by region; recurring subscription fees applied under Sony’s terms. None of these are current offers.
