PlayStation’s February State of Play already happened: the 2026 broadcast aired on February 12. It featured more than an hour of updates and announcements, including a remake of the original God of War trilogy in early development and the same-day PS5 launch of God of War Sons of Sparta. PlayStation has not confirmed a date or lineup for a February 2027 showcase.
When is the next PlayStation State of Play?
There is no confirmed date for a future February State of Play in PlayStation’s current State of Play information. The page says broadcasts happen throughout the year and points fans to PlayStation Blog and @PlayStation on X for scheduling news. That general guidance is not an announcement of a February 2027 event.
So there is no confirmed game list to preview for an upcoming February showcase. Treat any proposed lineup as speculation unless PlayStation announces it; a game’s release window or popularity does not establish that it will appear.
What happened at the February 2026 State of Play?
PlayStation announced the event on February 9 and scheduled it for February 12, 2026. The company advertised 60-plus minutes of news, gameplay updates and announcements, with third-party and indie games headed to PS5 alongside updates from PlayStation Studios. The broadcast was scheduled for 2 p.m. PT, 5 p.m. ET and 11 p.m. CEST on February 12, and 7 a.m. JST on February 13. Those were the times for that past event, not a schedule for a future stream. The announcement is on the PlayStation Blog.

The two announcements had different statuses: one was an early-development project, the other an available game.

The showcase was not limited to PlayStation Studios or to new reveals. PlayStation’s February 12 recap covered updates, demos, release information and announcements across a wide range of games, including:

PlayStation Plus announcements
The recap also included subscription catalog news. It said Big Walk was planned as a day-one monthly game later in 2026, and named Tekken Dark Resurrection and Time Crisis for the PlayStation Plus Premium Classics catalog. For the Game Catalog, it listed Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, Neva, Season: A Letter to the Future and Disney Pixar Wall-E as available beginning February 17, 2026. These are announcements tied to that date, not confirmation of what is currently in any catalog.
