Pokémon GO’s Final Justice event ran from November 25 to November 30, 2025, and has ended. It introduced Resolute Form Keldeo through seasonal Special Research and offered a separate, optional paid Masterwork Research ticket leading to a Shiny Keldeo encounter. The event also featured raids, Field Research, Collection Challenges and increased shiny chances for three Pokémon.
When did the Final Justice event run?
Final Justice ran from Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. through Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time, as part of the Tales of Transformation season. These dates are historical: the event and its ticket purchase window are over. Pokémon GO’s November 11, 2025 announcement gave the event window; the GO Center event archive also lists it among past events.
How did players get Resolute Form Keldeo?
Resolute Form Keldeo debuted through the concluding part of Tales of Transformation Seasonal Special Research, which became available when Final Justice began. Trainers could spend 50 Keldeo Candy to change Keldeo’s form. Pokémon GO announced the debut with the line, “Resolute Form Keldeo, the Colt Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut!”
The announcement said the Seasonal Special Research could be claimed through December 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. It also said that after the season ended, players who had not received that research would be able to encounter Keldeo in new Special Research after completing Finding Your Voice Special Research. Those were the access instructions at the time, not a guarantee of present-day availability.

Secret Sword at the time of the announcement
Pokémon GO announced that Resolute Form Keldeo would know Secret Sword, with 70 power in Trainer Battles and 120 power in Gyms and raids. These are the values stated in the 2025 event announcement, not a confirmation of the move’s current power after any later game changes.
How was Shiny Keldeo research different?
Shiny Keldeo was tied to an optional paid Masterwork Research ticket, rather than the seasonal research route for changing Keldeo’s form. The Pokémon GO Web Store listing called the research Pony Tales. It was described as leading to an encounter with Shiny Keldeo; the announcement did not promise a specific encounter outcome beyond that description.
