Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions is a special Pokémon TCG expansion centered on Eevee and its Evolutions. Its standard Elite Trainer Box launched on January 17, 2025, with nine booster packs and a full-art foil Eevee promo. Here’s what the set guide reports about its card treatments and how the main product options differ. This is a product and set preview, not a firsthand box opening.
What is Prismatic Evolutions?
Prismatic Evolutions is a special expansion in the Scarlet & Violet series, built around Eevee and its Evolutions. Pokémon’s product listing gives January 17, 2025 as the standard Elite Trainer Box’s launch date; PokéBeach’s November 1, 2024 reveal also named that as the first product date. The official product result says the ETB is sold through hobby shops and local retailers where Pokémon TCG products are available, but that does not establish current stock.
PokéBeach’s January 2, 2025 set guide reports 180 numbered cards: 131 in the main set and 49 secret rares. Those figures describe the numbered set, not the additional reverse-holo variants.
What card treatments and variants does the set have?
PokéBeach’s January 2, 2025 guide reports three reverse-holo groups: 108 standard variants, 100 Poké Ball variants, and 67 Master Ball variants. These are variant counts, not additional unique numbered cards to add to the reported total of 180.

The guide describes the Poké Ball and Master Ball reverse holos as textured, with a shattered-glass layer. It also reports that eight Basic Energy cards can appear as sheen reverse holos. Booster packs have two reverse-holo slots, and an ACE SPEC card can take the first slot. The guide says Master Ball reverse holos are rarer than Poké Ball versions, but provides no numerical pull odds.
In its November 1, 2024 reveal, PokéBeach reported more than 175 cards and highlighted six ACE SPEC Trainer cards, 10 Pokémon ex, 15 Tera Pokémon ex, 12 ultra rare Supporter cards, 32 special illustration rare Pokémon ex and Supporter cards, and five hyper rare gold etched Pokémon ex cards. Those are reveal figures; the later January guide’s reported total is 180 numbered cards.

What comes in the Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box?
The standard ETB listing from Asmodee UK, product code POK10010013, identifies The Pokémon Company International as the publisher and specifies:
- Nine Prismatic Evolutions booster packs
- One full-art foil Eevee promo card
- 65 Eevee card sleeves
- 45 Energy cards
- A player’s guide
- Six damage-counter dice and one competition-legal coin-flip die
- Two plastic condition markers
- A collector box with four dividers
- A Pokémon TCG Live code card
The listing gives a UK RRP of £49.99 and a publisher release date of January 17, 2025. That is a regional, historical recommended price—not a current price or a guide to what a box should cost today.

How does the Pokémon Center ETB compare with the regular ETB?
PokéBeach’s November 2024 product report lists 11 packs and two Eevee promo copies in the Pokémon Center ETB; one promo has a Pokémon Center logo. The standard ETB has nine packs and one Eevee promo, according to the Asmodee UK listing.

The practical distinction is whether the extra packs and logo promo matter to you. The sources establish the reported contents, not a current price comparison or a claim that either box is better value.

What other Prismatic Evolutions products were announced?
PokéBeach’s product coverage reports a binder collection, poster collection, and tech sticker collection in the initial product lineup, followed by mini tins, surprise boxes, a booster bundle, and an accessory pouch. Its January 2025 guide says the binder collection includes five packs and a nine-pocket album that holds up to 378 cards.
The November 2024 report said individual booster packs would not be sold, with packs included in boxed products. That describes the reported launch lineup, not what may be sold or in stock now.

Is the standard ETB the right product for you?
Choose based on what you want from the box, rather than assuming its contents guarantee a particular card:
- Pick the standard ETB if nine packs plus sleeves, Energy, dice, markers, dividers, a guide, and a code card suit your collecting or play setup.
- Look at the Pokémon Center ETB if its reported 11 packs, second Eevee promo, and logo-stamped promo are the features you want. Current availability is not established by the sources cited here.
- Consider the binder collection if a nine-pocket album matters more to you than the standard ETB’s accessory bundle; its reported pack count is five.
None of the cited product descriptions establish pull rates, the likelihood of finding a specific card, current market value, or tournament legality. Treat those as separate questions rather than reasons to expect a particular result from a sealed product.
