Pokémon Go’s Fuecoco Community Day took place on March 8, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Its featured evolution reward was Blast Burn for Skeledirge, and its main catch bonuses were 3× Stardust and 2× Candy. The event is over; Niantic has not announced another Fuecoco Community Day.
When was Fuecoco Community Day?
The official event, titled “March 2025 Community Day: Fuecoco,” ran Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Fuecoco appeared more often in the wild, with a chance to encounter a Shiny. Niantic’s event announcement is the source for the date and event-specific details below.

This is a historical guide, not an announcement of a live event. Niantic’s Twilight Trails season page lists November 21, 2026 as a Community Day date, but does not identify Fuecoco as the featured Pokémon. A future Community Day featuring Fuecoco has not been established. Niantic’s Twilight Trails calendar does not confirm a repeat.
What was the featured evolution reward?
Blast Burn for Skeledirge
Evolving Crocalor into Skeledirge during the event or up to one week afterward granted Skeledirge the Charged Attack Blast Burn. Niantic listed the move at 110 power in Trainer Battles and 120 power in Gyms and raids. That evolution window has passed.

Torch Song also became available
Starting with the event, Skeledirge could also learn Torch Song. Niantic listed Torch Song at 70 power with a one-stage Attack increase in Trainer Battles, and 100 power in Gyms and raids. The announcement did not limit this move to the event’s evolution window.

Most bonuses were restricted to 2:00–5:00 p.m. local time. The extended trade benefits were the exception, lasting until 10:00 p.m. These were temporary 2025 event rules, not current bonuses.

What research and paid offers were included?
Timed Research
Trainers who logged in during Community Day received Timed Research. It offered an encounter with Fuecoco with a Seasonal Special Background, and completing tasks gave an increased chance of encountering a Shiny Fuecoco. The tasks and rewards expired March 15, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. local time.
Optional paid Special Research
Niantic announced a ticket for US$2.00 or the equivalent local pricing tier. The historical offer included a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, additional Fuecoco encounters, and three Fuecoco encounters with a Seasonal Special Background. The ticket was nonrefundable subject to applicable law and its stated terms. It is no longer a current offer.

Shop bundles
The announcement also listed temporary in-game bundles and an Ultra Community Day Box in the Pokémon GO Web Store. Those were event offers and should not be treated as available now.

The exact Fuecoco bonuses, paid research, shop offers, and evolution deadline were specific to March 2025. Niantic says Community Days feature a particular Pokémon for a set time and often include an exclusive attack and event bonuses; details can vary from one event to another. Check the official announcement for the event you plan to play rather than assuming the Fuecoco schedule or rewards will return. Niantic’s general Community Day explanation also advises using a strong internet connection and automatic time-zone detection.
