The event has ended; this guide records what it offered, separate from Part 2.
When was Halloween 2025 Part 1?
The event ran October 21–27, 2025, according to Serebii’s event listing. The listing does not give exact start or end times or a timezone, so those details cannot be specified here. Which Pokémon debuted, and what spawned more often?
New Pokémon and shiny releases
Part 1 introduced Poltchageist in its Counterfeit and Artisan forms, along with Sinistcha in its Unremarkable and Masterpiece forms. The event also listed shiny Sinistea and shiny Polteageist as debuts, including their Antique Forms. These were event availability listings, not evidence of increased shiny odds; the event reference does not provide encounter rates (Serebii event listing).
Increased wild spawns
The event’s increased-spawn list included:
- Zubat
- Meowth
- Gastly
- Spinarak
- Shuppet
- Duskull
- Venipede
- Zorua
- Vullaby
- Sinistea
- Greavard
Some Pokémon were marked as capable of being shiny in the event listing, but no shiny-rate figure was given.

What did the GO Pass and event cosmetics include?
GO Pass
Part 1 offered free and paid tracks for the “GO Pass: Halloween” reward track. Its listed rank rewards spanned XP, Stardust, items, Candy and encounters, with additional bonuses at three milestone ranks. The event listing does not establish the historical pass price or purchase conditions, and the past pass should not be treated as currently available (Serebii event listing).

Stickers and avatar item
Four sticker designs—Teddiursa, Noibat, pumpkin and “Halloween 2021 – Ghost”—were listed as obtainable by opening Gifts and spinning PokéStops. The event also included a Polteageist Hat. These were cosmetics, distinct from the costumed Pokémon associated with Part 2 (GO Center event archive).
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How was Part 1 different from Part 2?
Part 1 was the October 21–27 listing centered on the Poltchageist and Sinistcha additions, shiny Sinistea and Polteageist, and the spawns, raids and rewards described above. Part 2 was a separate event listing dated October 27–November 2. The archive’s dates overlap on October 27, but do not provide exact local schedules, so they should not be used to infer when one part ended and the next began.
