- Collection Challenges: Catch-focused and raid-focused challenges awarded Stardust, Poké Balls, and Great Balls.
- PokéStop Showcases: Event-themed Showcases were announced.
What did the paid Timed Research include?
An optional ticket cost US$2.00 or the equivalent local pricing tier. Its listed rewards were two Premium Battle Passes, one Incubator, 1,500 Stardust, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon. Tasks had to be completed and rewards claimed by Friday, December 27, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time, so this research is no longer available. The ticket could be gifted to friends at Great Friends level or higher, could not be bought with PokéCoins, and was non-refundable subject to applicable law and the announcement’s stated exceptions.
