What are the best counters for Incarnate Forme Landorus?
Landorus’s Ground/Flying typing makes Ice the strongest type-based choice because it hits a double weakness. Water is another effective option. Pokémon GO Hub’s June 2, 2026 counter guide lists these notable attackers and moves:

How many Trainers does it take to beat Landorus?
Use three to five high-level Trainers or six to eight lower-level Trainers as practical planning estimates. Pokémon GO Hub says two Trainers can win under extremely ideal conditions, but that is not a dependable baseline: roster quality and battle conditions matter. If you are short on strong counters, bring a larger group rather than relying on the duo estimate.

The following figures are for the post-raid encounter, not Landorus’s CP as a raid boss. Pokémon GO Hub lists these ranges:

When is Shadow Landorus in raids?
Pokémon GO Hub’s October 6, 2026 event calendar reports Shadow Incarnate Forme Landorus in Shadow Raids on weekends from October 7 through November 3, 2026. This is a secondary calendar, and raid schedules can vary by local timing; confirm the live listing in Pokémon GO before planning around a specific date.
The same calendar lists the standard Tier 5 rotation separately: Yveltal from October 7–13, Dialga October 14–20, Palkia October 21–27, and Origin Forme Giratina October 28–November 3. These are standard raids, not the Shadow Landorus listing. See the October 2026 calendar and check the in-game raid screen for current local availability.

How to enter and retry a raid
- Use a Raid Pass to enter a raid. The official Pokémon GO Help Center raid instructions explain that a pass is required.
- Before the battle begins, choose a battle party of six Pokémon. Favor your strongest available Ice attackers, with effective Water attackers as alternatives.
- Defeat the boss to receive raid rewards and a chance to catch it. If your group loses, you can rejoin the same active raid without spending another pass, according to the Help Center.
