Pokémon GO’s Solosis Community Day took place on October 12, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time. Evolving Duosion by 9:00 p.m. that day gave Reuniclus the Fast Attack Charm. The event is over; Niantic has not announced a Solosis rerun in the sources cited here.
When was Solosis Community Day?
Niantic scheduled the event for Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Solosis appeared more frequently in the wild during the main window. Shiny Solosis and Solosis with a Tales of Transformation Special Background were possible encounters, but neither was guaranteed. Niantic’s event announcement has the original details.
As of October 8, 2026, that event has passed. A separate schedule listing identifies Zorua for October 2026; it does not establish a Solosis rerun. Check official Pokémon GO announcements for any future schedule.
What was the featured move, and when could Duosion evolve?
Evolving Duosion during the event or by 9:00 p.m. local time on October 12—four hours after the main event ended—produced a Reuniclus that knew the Fast Attack Charm. Niantic listed Charm at 13 power in Trainer Battles and 20 power in Gyms and raids.

The event-specific four-hour deadline applies here. Niantic’s general Community Day help page describes a typical evolution window of up to five hours, but the Solosis announcement specified four. The help page also says featured attacks are later added to the Elite TM pool; it does not establish whether Charm is currently available through that route. Niantic’s Community Day help page

During the 2:00–5:00 p.m. event window, Niantic listed these bonuses:

- Trainers level 31 and up had twice the chance to receive Candy XL from catches.
- Incense activated during the event, other than Daily Adventure Incense, lasted three hours.
- Lure Modules lasted one hour and could attract Solosis.
- Trainers could make one additional Special Trade that day, for a maximum of three, and trades cost 50% less Stardust.
- A snapshot could trigger a surprise.
These were event-day benefits, not current bonuses. The extended lure period was a separate exception, not an extension of every event bonus.
What continued until 9 p.m.?
From 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time, regular Lure Modules at PokéStops had a very high chance to attract Solosis. Lure-attracted Solosis retained increased shiny odds and could have a Special Background. This gave players a longer opportunity to encounter the featured Pokémon, but the main catch bonuses and the Charm evolution deadline were tied to the event’s stated rules.

What research was offered?
Paid Special Research
The event-exclusive Special Research ticket was listed at US$1.99 or the equivalent local pricing tier. It offered three Solosis encounters with Tales of Transformation Special Backgrounds, additional Solosis encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. Niantic said the research had no in-game medal or story. Tickets were nonrefundable except where applicable law or the stated exceptions required otherwise. This was a historical event offer, not a current ticket.
Field Research and Community Ambassador events
Themed Field Research could reward Stardust, Great Balls, extra Solosis encounters, and possibly encounters with a Special Background. Community Ambassador event check-ins could provide Timed Research with additional encounters and premium item rewards.

Could Pokémon GO Plus + help?
Pokémon GO Plus + was optional; it was not required to participate or improve shiny odds. Niantic’s Bluetooth device help article explains how supported accessories interact with PokéStops and attempt catches. With the device, catches use a single attempt and do not support Berries. Auto-throw uses regular Poké Balls and is limited to Pokémon the player has previously caught, so an attempt can fail.
