April 2025’s Pokémon GO Spotlight Hours have passed. The four regular featured Pokémon were Meditite, Fomantis, Morelull, and Abra, with each event running from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. local time. April 1 was a separate April Fools-themed event rather than a standard single-Pokémon hour.
April 2025 Spotlight Hour schedule
Spotlight Hour increases the featured Pokémon’s appearance rate in the wild for one hour. The regular April events took place on Tuesdays:

What happened on April 1?
April 1 was an April Fools-themed Spotlight Hour, distinct from the four regular named-Pokémon events. Serebii’s Spotlight Hour archive lists a 2× Catch Candy bonus but does not name a featured Pokémon. Esports.gg’s event listing describes map Poké Balls that could produce items or Pokémon encounters, rather than a conventional single-species spotlight.
