As of 7 October 2026, the active Pokémon Legends: Z-A offers include one widely redeemable code, two internet gifts tied to game progress, and a birthday Audino offer available only in person in Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan. A 100 Ultra Ball bundle code has been announced, but the bundle is not scheduled to release until 29 October 2026.
Active Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mystery Gifts
The list below reflects current specialist guides checked on 7 October 2026; it is not a Pokémon-published master inventory. The gifts use different claim methods and eligibility rules, so check each row before heading to the Mystery Gift menu.
| Gift | How to claim and eligibility | Availability listed |
|---|---|---|
| 5 Max Revives, 10 Full Restores, and 10 Ultra Balls | Choose Link Play > Mystery Gift > Get with Code/Password and enter PREPAR1NG. | Through 31 March 2027, according to GamesRadar+’s October 2026 guide. |
| Garchompite Z and the “Special Distortion Detected” side mission | Choose Get Via Internet. The current listings tie this gift to Mega Dimension DLC access and progress: one says to complete one or more Hyperspace Adventures; another describes it as post-credits. | No end date listed by the current guides. |
| Mewtwonite X, Mewtwonite Y, and the “Project M” side mission | Choose Get Via Internet. Current guides describe it as a progression or post-credits gift; they do not state the unlock threshold consistently. | No end date listed by the current guides. |
| Cherish Ball Audino | A unique code is offered to eligible visitors during their birthday month at Pokémon Center stores in Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan. This is an in-person regional offer, not a general online code. | Listed through 31 October 2026 by GamesRadar+’s October 2026 guide. |
How to redeem a current gift
- Open the in-game menu and select Link Play.
- Select Mystery Gift.
- For Garchompite Z or Mewtwonite X/Y, choose Get Via Internet. For the item bundle, choose Get with Code/Password and enter PREPAR1NG.
The menu path is also listed by Nintendo Life’s Mystery Gift guide. If an internet gift does not appear, check your game progress and, for Garchompite Z, access to the Mega Dimension DLC.
Upcoming: 100 Ultra Balls with the Mega Dimension bundle
The Pokémon Company International announced on 30 September 2026 that the Pokémon Legends: Z-A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension bundle will release on 29 October 2026. The purchase includes a one-use serial code for 100 Ultra Balls, so it is not claimable as of 7 October. Nintendo says claiming it requires an internet connection and a Nintendo Account, but not a Nintendo Switch Online membership; Mystery Gift access takes about one hour of play. The company says the code has no expiration date, while warning that circumstances such as the end of network service could prevent claiming it. See the official bundle announcement.

Alpha Charizard’s code was B1G0006; its official distribution ended on 19 January 2026, according to The Pokémon Company’s announcement.
