Wild Zone 3 is Rouge Plaza, reached from Rouge Street in Lumiose City. Nintendo Life lists five regular Pokémon sightings that are not disputed by a second guide, while the sixth listing differs: Nintendo Life reports Gogoat and VGC reports Skiddo. The zone also has a reported level 24 Alpha Litleo inside a west-side building.
Where to find Wild Zone 3
Look for Rouge Plaza off Rouge Street. Nearby landmarks include the Looker Bureau, Sushi High Roller, and Galerie de la Lune. Nintendo Life says the plaza is available from the start of the story and recommends bringing Pokémon around level 8 or higher; treat that level as a guide recommendation, not a stated entry requirement. Nintendo Life’s Wild Zone 3 guide provides the location and level guidance.

Which Pokémon appear in Wild Zone 3?
Nintendo Life lists these regular encounters and locations:
- Pikachu: southeast quadrant.
- Gogoat: southwest quadrant.
- Pancham: northwest quadrant; it may take time to appear.
- Litleo: northwest quadrant.
- Flabébé: center of the zone.
- Espurr: northeast quadrant; it may flee if it notices you.
There is one unresolved species discrepancy. Video Games Chronicle lists Pikachu, Flabébé, Litleo, Espurr, Pancham, and Skiddo, describing Skiddo near the front gate; it does not list Gogoat. Nintendo Life lists Gogoat and does not list Skiddo. The guides agree on the other five names, but their differing lists and location descriptions mean you should check the disputed Gogoat-or-Skiddo encounter in your own game rather than assume both are present. See VGC’s Wild Zone 3 guide for its Skiddo listing.

Where to find the Alpha Pokémon
Nintendo Life reports a single fixed Alpha encounter: a level 24 Alpha Litleo sleeping inside a building on the west side of the zone. Alpha Pokémon are larger than their regular counterparts and have glowing red eyes. The Pokémon Company says they are particularly powerful and difficult to catch; they will chase and attack after noticing the player. The Pokémon Company’s gameplay guidance explains Alpha behavior.
How to catch Pokémon that flee
Espurr is specifically reported as likely to flee if it spots you. More generally, The Pokémon Company warns that some Pokémon flee immediately when they notice the player. Its advice is to hide out of sight or approach from behind to make yourself harder to notice. If you are willing to battle, lowering the Pokémon’s HP can make it easier to catch.

- Throw a Poké Ball: attempt the catch after your approach or battle has improved your opportunity.
Daytime preparation and nighttime battles
Wild Zones can be explored during the day or at night. The Z-A Royale begins when night falls, so The Pokémon Company recommends using daytime to prepare by battling wild Pokémon and stocking useful battle items. This is especially relevant if you plan to challenge the Alpha Litleo, which is reported at level 24.
