Which Pokémon are in Wild Zone 4?
| Pokémon | Where to look | Timing or search note |
|---|---|---|
| Patrat | Central path | Check during the opening sweep. |
| Gastly | Northwest section | Search alongside Spewpa. |
| Spewpa | Northwest section | Check the northwest corner with Gastly. |
| Ekans | Southwest grass | Sweep the grass after checking the center. |
| Spinarak | Walls throughout the zone | Look up; a ground-level scan can miss it. |
| Honedge | Southeast section | Night-only; return after the time changes if absent. |
The species and encounter locations in the table are reported by PokéQuery. The guide notes that a visit may not produce every listed species, so check the indicated area and timing, then leave and re-enter if needed. PokéQuery’s Wild Zone 4 guide
What route should you use to check the whole zone?
- Start in the center: follow the central path and look for Patrat.
- Head northwest: check for Gastly and Spewpa together.
- Sweep southwest: search the grass for Ekans.
- Scan the walls: look around the cemetery for Spinarak rather than focusing only on the path.
- Return at night: check the southeast for Honedge. If it is not there, revisit after the time changes; leaving and re-entering may also help.
How does the Alpha Spinarak checkpoint differ?
PokéQuery separately reports a guaranteed Alpha Spinarak checkpoint at level 20–21 when active. Treat that as distinct from the ordinary Spinarak listed on the zone’s walls. The Pokémon Company’s official guidance describes Alpha Pokémon generally as larger, powerful, and difficult to catch; they chase and attack when they notice the player. The official overview does not independently confirm this zone’s Alpha species or level. PokéQuery’s Wild Zone 4 guide; The Pokémon Company’s capture and Alpha guidance

How can you catch the zone’s Pokémon?
In the official guidance, wild zones can be explored by day or night, and catching involves aiming and throwing a Poké Ball. Some Pokémon flee when they spot you. The Pokémon Company advises: “Some Pokémon will flee immediately if they spot you, so hide out of sight or approach from behind to make yourself harder to notice.” Battling to lower a target’s HP can also make it easier to catch. If registering a Pokémon is your priority, avoid knocking it out. The Pokémon Company, “Making the Most of Your Adventure,” July 22, 2025
