In Pokémon Pokopia, redeem gifts at the Pokémon Center PC: choose Get Items → Mystery Gifts, then select Get via Internet or Get with Code/Password. You need an internet connection, and Nintendo says the feature unlocks after approximately 30 minutes of play. As of October 7, 2026, Nintendo Life lists a Chansey Plant code expiring on that date and a Ditto Rug Internet gift listed through January 31, 2027.
How to redeem a Pokémon Pokopia Mystery Gift
Nintendo’s instructions say to start the game, press A at the title screen, and walk to the PC in town. Press A to interact, then follow this path:
- Get Items
- Mystery Gifts
- Choose Get via Internet or Get with Code/Password, depending on the gift.
Nintendo says Mystery Gifts become available after approximately 30 minutes of play time. Both receipt methods require internet access. The game automatically saves after a gift is delivered. See Nintendo’s Mystery Gift instructions for Pokémon Pokopia.
Choose the right receipt method

Both routes use the same Mystery Gifts menu and require internet access. A listed gift may no longer be available even if you have seen it mentioned elsewhere, so treat dates as distribution-specific rather than permanent.

Nintendo Life’s guide, dated July 29, 2026 and crawled October 7, 2026, lists these two distributions. It is a secondary guide, not an official, comprehensive distribution archive; confirm availability in-game.

These listings are attributed to Nintendo Life’s Pokémon Pokopia Mystery Gift guide. The guide credits Serebii for tracking distributions, but that does not make its list an official Nintendo archive.

Expansion Pass bonus: a separate code-based reward
Purchasing the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass comes with a serial code for 30 Rare Pokémetal ingots. This is a purchase bonus, not a general free Internet distribution. Nintendo says the code is emailed to the address registered to the Nintendo Account after purchase; The Pokémon Company also describes the offer in its September 9, 2026 announcement.
- Purchase and code deadline: purchase by August 31, 2027; the serial code must also be claimed by that date.
- In-game reward deadline: claim the ingots in the game by September 30, 2027.
- Requirements: internet access and a user profile linked to a Nintendo Account. A paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required for this bonus.
- One-time use: the code can be used once and cannot be reused on another save file after the items have been claimed.
- Availability in normal play: Rare Pokémetal ingots can also be obtained through gameplay.

Do not confuse the Expansion Pass recipe with a Mystery Gift
The Expansion Pass also includes a dynamic Ditto print blocks and wallpaper recipe, but Nintendo’s instructions say to claim that through the main menu’s Downloadable Content section using Check Items → Receive. It is not claimed through the Pokémon Center PC’s Mystery Gifts menu, and requires game update version 1.1.0. The ingot serial code, by contrast, is redeemed through Mystery Gifts.
