The Pokémon Company officially announced a life-size reclining Eevee plush for Japan in April 2025. A report at the time described a broader rollout covering every Eeveelution, but the official announcement confirms details only for Eevee—not individual specifications or release plans for all eight evolutions.
What the official Eevee announcement confirms
The Pokémon Company’s Japanese announcement, published April 18, 2025, named the product ぬいぐるみ 等身大イーブイ 寝そべり, or “Plush, Life-Size Eevee, Reclining.” It described Eevee lying down and looking upward, with a soft coat that has a glossy feel. The listed price was ¥3,850, including tax.
The announcement set out this original Japan launch schedule:
- Pokémon Center Online: scheduled to begin handling the plush on April 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Japan time.
- Pokémon Center stores: scheduled launch date of April 26, 2025.
- Amazon.co.jp Pokémon Store: reservations were planned from April 26, with sales planned from May 3; quantities were to be limited.

What is reported about the wider Eeveelution lineup
A Nintendo Wire report published April 25, 2025 described a full line of life-size Eeveelution plushes, with Eevee’s original trio arriving first and later waves to follow. That report provides context for the broader rollout, but it is secondary coverage rather than an official character-by-character product announcement.
The available official details do not establish exact dimensions, prices, or release dates for Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, or Sylveon. The “life-size” description should not be treated as a complete size specification for each character.

Do not confuse the plush rollout with the Eevee Collection
In a separate announcement on November 14, 2025, Pokémon Japan introduced an “Eevee Collection” featuring Eevee and all eight evolutions: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon. That collection includes themed plushes and accessories, but the announcement does not identify them as the life-size plush products.
