The latest official Schedule I update listed in the developer’s Steam news feed is v0.4.7 Open Beta, dated September 19, 2026. It adds special customer groups and behaviours, the Hyland Medical interior and purchasable business, and a range of appearance, location, and NPC changes. The feed does not confirm when this beta will reach the stable/default branch or what a later update will include.
What’s included in the v0.4.7 Open Beta?
The official Schedule I Steam news feed lists these additions and changes:
Special customers and their behaviours
- New customer groups include hippies, a party bus, businessmen, and bikers.
- New NPC behaviours include talking on the phone, using a laptop, sitting on the ground, dancing, vomiting, and revving motorcycles.
Hyland Medical
The update adds an interior for Hyland Medical and makes it available as a purchasable business.
Appearance, locations, and other changes
- New black rubber mats and a Persian rug.
- Additional clothing and accessories, hairstyles, facial-hair styles, and teleport locations.
- A rebuilt avatar appearance system. The developer says it was designed to support user-created cosmetics in a future update; that note does not say those cosmetics are included in v0.4.7.
- Other tweaks and bug fixes, including a change intended to reduce memory use in late-game saves. The developer says the change is expected to save “several-hundred megabytes”; that is the patch note’s stated expectation, not an independently measured result.
Is v0.4.7 out on the stable branch?
The entry is explicitly titled “v0.4.7 Open Beta.” The reviewed official feed does not say that it has reached the stable/default branch, provide a stable-release date, or identify a later update. Check the official Steam news feed for any status change.

How the special-customer update was chosen
In an April 17 announcement, the developer presented three choices for its next major update: hireable drivers, police improvements, and special customers. The proposal described special customer groups that would periodically visit town and buy larger quantities of product.
The April 25 vote announcement said special customers won with 142,287 votes, compared with 125,314 for drivers and 117,677 for police improvements. It named bikers, businessmen, hippies, a party bus, and a rock band as prospective groups, each with preferred drug types and bulk purchases at a somewhat lower profit margin. Those details describe the earlier proposal; the current v0.4.7 beta notes list the groups and features actually announced for the beta. What came before v0.4.7?
The official feed lists v0.4.6 on July 31, 2026, with controller support and optimization, followed by v0.4.6f13 on August 13 with bug fixes. Both entries precede the September 19 v0.4.7 Open Beta entry. The developer’s performance claim for v0.4.6 applies to that earlier update, not v0.4.7.
