Speak to the person inside the Nursery on Route 5 to receive Toxel. The gift is listed at level 1.
Fossil Pokémon — Route 6

In-game trade: Togepi for Toxel
Hammerlocke — outside the vault
By the battlefield outside Hammerlocke’s vault, a trainer offers Togepi in exchange for a Toxel. The Togepi, nicknamed Snips, is listed at level 25. This is a trade rather than a free gift: you must hand over a Pokémon to receive it.
Mystery Gift in Sword and Shield
Mystery Gift is a separate delivery method, not a permanent pickup at a map location. Nintendo’s support instructions for receiving Mystery Gifts in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield explain the process and direct players to Pokémon.com for current or upcoming distributions.
Past Sword and Shield promotions have offered Pokémon and items on scheduled windows, but an old promotion does not mean a distribution is still active. Check the official Pokémon promotion announcement for its stated dates, and verify current availability through the official channels before expecting a reward.
