The English Pokémon TCG: First Partner Illustration Collection—Series 1 launched on March 20, 2026. The English product is different from a China-market collection announced separately.
What’s inside the English Series 1 collection?
Pokémon’s US product listing specifies three items:
- One Pokémon TCG pack containing three promo cards selected from a pool of nine illustration rare-style cards.
- Two additional Pokémon TCG booster packs.
- One sticker sheet.
The nine promo cards feature first partner Pokémon from Kanto, Sinnoh, and Alola. The listing specifies three cards from the nine-card pool, but does not say whether the included trio is a particular set or a random assortment.
Which starter Pokémon are represented?
The Series 1 promo pool covers the first partner Pokémon from three regions: Kanto, Sinnoh, and Alola. Pokémon’s product page names those regions but does not provide a full card-by-card checklist in the product details.

When did Series 1 launch, and where is it sold?
The English Series 1 launch date was March 20, 2026. Pokémon says it is available through Pokémon Center and where Pokémon TCG products are sold. That general listing does not confirm current inventory or prices at any particular retailer.
How does the China-market product differ?
Pokémon China’s February 9, 2026 announcement describes a separate regional product, not the English box. It contains one randomly selected promo card from nine, an acrylic magnetic display frame, and one five-card booster pack. The nine cards depict the Kanto, Sinnoh, and Alola starters; the three cards from each region can be arranged together to form a long image.

When did later First Partner Illustration Collection series launch?
Series 2 and Series 3 are later releases in the line, not part of the Series 1 box. Pokémon’s UK Series 2 listing shows a June 19, 2026 launch date, while the US Series 3 listing gives August 7, 2026. Those listings establish their dates, but the Series 1 contents described above should not be assumed to apply to later collections.
