Was the Walmart+ early-access preorder offer real, and is it still live?
The exact historical date and time, Walmart+ eligibility rules, purchase limits, seller, and fulfillment terms have not been confirmed by an official Walmart source. A community discussion mentions October 2025 access, but that is anecdotal and cannot verify the offer’s terms. Walmart’s Collector Con page currently promotes an October 8 event; it does not establish that this Pokémon expansion is part of it or that an earlier preorder offer remains available.
That means there is no reliable basis to say that paid members can preorder Phantasmal Flames now, or to give specific instructions for accessing a historical window. If you encounter a listing, check whether it is for the intended product and whether the seller, fulfillment method, price, stock status, and condition are clearly identified. A product appearing in Walmart search results does not by itself establish that Walmart is the seller or that a preorder is open.
When did Phantasmal Flames launch?
Pokémon announced Mega Evolution—Phantasmal Flames as a Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion in the Mega Evolution series, with an official release date of November 14, 2025. Pokémon’s launch announcement says it includes over 120 cards, including new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex such as Mega Charizard X ex, new Trainer cards, and more than 15 cards with special illustrations.

As a result, a preorder headline using “Today” is historical as of October 8, 2026. The release date does not establish whether any particular retailer has stock now.
What products were offered in the expansion?
Pokémon’s official product showcase identifies Booster Display Boxes, Build & Battle Boxes, Booster Bundles, and Elite Trainer Boxes. Their contents differ, so confirm the named product and its listed contents rather than treating every listing as interchangeable.

Pokémon said the ETB launched on November 14, 2025 and was available where Pokémon TCG products are sold. That general availability statement does not confirm current inventory at Walmart or any other retailer.
