The Pawmot Drop Event was a historical solo battle event in Pokémon TCG Pocket, with four difficulty stages, battle tasks, and Promo Pack A Series Vol. 6 rewards. Its featured pack was listed as containing Pawmot, Machamp, Floatzel, Ekans, and Bidoof. The event guide recommended Fighting decks, but its deck suggestions were not backed by published matchup or win-rate data. The official October 2026 event announcement covers Mega Garchomp ex, not a Pawmot rerun, so the old Pawmot rewards should not be assumed to be available now.
What was the Pawmot Drop Event?
It was a solo battle event with Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert stages. Players could earn rewards for first clears, complete battle tasks, and receive drop rewards. Pokémon Zone’s historical event guide describes the event and its rewards; it does not establish that the event is currently running.
The event guide recommends exploiting Pawmot’s weakness with Fighting-type decks. Treat its deck choices as recommendations from that guide, not as independently tested or currently optimal builds: the accessible guide text does not provide complete deck lists, matchup data, or win rates.
Which cards were in Promo Pack A Series Vol. 6?
Pokémon Zone lists five possible cards in the event pack. Its descriptions of which cards were alternate art or event-exclusive are unofficial guide claims, rather than details confirmed by the official support page.

These are odds reported by Pokémon Zone, not a distribution confirmed by an official source. The combined Floatzel-or-Ekans figure is not a separate probability for each card, and the figures should not be treated as independently verified probabilities.
How reliable were the promo-pack drops?
Pokémon TCG Pocket Support says a promo pack is not guaranteed as a battle victory reward. It also explains that each pack awards one random card: “Additionally, the promo card pack contains cards other than the featured card, and you will receive a random card each time.” Read the full official promo card drop event guidance.

That general rule does not conflict with Pokémon Zone’s event-specific statement that clearing Expert guaranteed a pack. A particular event stage can have a guaranteed reward even though a pack is not guaranteed after every battle victory. The guide also reports percentage-based chances for earlier stages, but those figures are not confirmed by the official support guidance.
Which decks did the event guide recommend?
Pokémon Zone’s suggestions center on Fighting-type decks, both to target Pawmot’s weakness and to meet some battle tasks that require a Fighting-type knockout.

For the advanced low-rarity Pokémon-card condition, the guide points to Rampardos or Fighting Toolbox and warns against alternative-art cards. The accessible text extraction omits some rarity symbols, so check the exact condition in the game’s task panel before building a deck. No complete deck list or head-to-head comparison is available in the guide text.
What were the event battle tasks?
The task list captured by Pokémon Zone includes these objectives. Because some rarity symbols are missing from the accessible page text, verify the wording and card-rarity requirement in the in-game panel rather than inferring a symbol or rarity tier.

Is the Pawmot event available now?
Do not assume so. The Pokémon Company’s October 2026 announcement refers to a Mega Garchomp ex Drop Event, where players can earn B Series vol. 13 promo packs; it does not announce a Pawmot rerun. Check the official October event announcement for that event’s details, and rely on the in-game event screen for current availability.
