Its launch date was reported differently: PokeBeach gave January 29, 2025, while Pokémon’s official preview said to expect it on January 30. Pokémon later confirmed the expansion was available, but the sources do not explain the one-day discrepancy.
When did Space-Time Smackdown release?
Pokémon’s official preview, published January 23, 2025, said the expansion would launch on January 30. In a report published the same day, PokeBeach listed January 29 as the release date. Pokémon later described Space-Time Smackdown as available to collect and play, confirming that it launched, but the cited sources do not reconcile the two dates. They should not be treated as interchangeable or as proof of a time-zone explanation.
For chronology, PokeBeach also reported that trading was due to arrive in the app on January 28, before the expansion’s release.
What is Space-Time Smackdown?
Space-Time Smackdown is digital content for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, not an established physical Pokémon TCG booster-box release. Pokémon’s preview presents Dialga and Palkia as dimension-altering Pokémon ex from Sinnoh, and says the expansion includes new Pokémon ex, Trainer cards, and immersive cards.
