Pokémon TCG Pocket’s Triumphant Light expansion was released on February 28, 2025—not merely rumored for that date. The A2a digital mini-expansion is headlined by Arceus ex, and its card reveal is now historical: PokéBeach reported 96 cards in the checklist the day before release. “Leaked cards” describes the pre-release discovery cycle, not an unrevealed set or a physical card product.
When did Triumphant Light release?
The Pokémon Company announced February 28, 2025, as the release date for Triumphant Light in Pokémon TCG Pocket. That date has passed. The announcement described it as a new expansion for the mobile game, so A2a refers to a digital Pocket set, not a physical Pokémon Trading Card Game release. The Pokémon Company’s announcement
What was leaked or revealed about the cards?
On February 27, 2025, PokéBeach reported that all 96 cards had been revealed and that the mini-set was already available in Pokémon TCG Pocket. Its reported checklist count was 75 cards plus 21 secret rares. That is a count of cards on the reported checklist, not a claim that all 96 have distinct gameplay effects. PokéBeach’s card-reveal report
Reports and discussion at the time connected the pre-release leak to an official social-media post, but that account is not established by the primary-source material cited here. It is more accurate to say the card reveal was reported before the announced release than to state a specific leak source as fact.

What is Triumphant Light, and what is new?
Triumphant Light is Pokémon TCG Pocket’s A2a mini-expansion, with Arceus ex as its headlining Pokémon. The Pokémon Company said Arceus makes its Pocket debut as a powerful Pokémon ex and brings “unique Link Abilities.”
Link Abilities are gameplay effects on the relevant Pocket cards. The official announcement compared their distinctive pattern to physical cards from Pokémon TCG: Platinum—Arceus, while clarifying that the pattern on those physical cards was largely cosmetic. The comparison is visual; it does not make Triumphant Light a physical set.
What happened with the special event?
The Pokémon Company also announced a special in-game event featuring no-cost booster packs guaranteed to contain rare cards. The announcement’s event information is historical; it does not establish that the event or its packs remain available now.

The sources establish Triumphant Light A2a as digital content in Pokémon TCG Pocket, not as a physical card set. A card checklist can help identify the reported cards, but it is not evidence of a purchasable physical A2a product. A supporting checklist is listed in the Pokémon TCG Pocket Card Database.
