The Japanese set has since been released. Its revealed cards include Team Rocket characters and Pokémon, as well as Pokémon with no Rocket affiliation.
What was revealed, and when?
PokéBeach’s April 15, 2025 report covered cards being shared on social media before the Japanese release. The set database gives the release date as April 18, 2025. Read the original leak report; Serebii’s set database lists the set and its card numbering.
The Japanese set contains 132 cards: 98 normal cards and 34 secret cards. Among the reported secret rares were Team Rocket’s Spidops, Houndoom, Wobbuffet, Orbeetle, Weezing, Murkrow, Raticate, and Meowth; Blaziken, Zamazenta, and Kangaskhan; and Pokémon ex including Team Rocket’s Moltres ex, Nidoking ex, Crobat ex, and Persian ex. The report also named Team Rocket characters Ariana, Archer, Giovanni, Petrel, and Proton, alongside Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex, Jamming Tower, and other secret cards.
The variety matters: the reveal was not limited to Rocket-branded Pokémon. Blaziken, Zamazenta, and Kangaskhan were also among the named cards.

Which cards made it into the English set?
The English counterpart is Scarlet & Violet—Destined Rivals, but it is not a one-to-one English edition of The Glory of Team Rocket. PokéBeach’s May 16, 2025 guide says Destined Rivals draws cards from The Glory of Team Rocket, Japan’s Heat Wave Arena, and the Marnie and Steven decks. The English set has 244 cards: 182 main-set cards and 62 secret rares. See PokéBeach’s Destined Rivals set guide for the English set list.
One notable change is Team Rocket’s Wobbuffet: its Japanese illustration rare became an Elite Trainer Box promo in the English release, rather than appearing in the English booster set. So a card from the Japanese reveal may have a different product route or set placement in English.

How can English-language collectors find related cards?
Destined Rivals is the English set to check for cards sourced from The Glory of Team Rocket, while remembering that the Japanese-to-English mapping and card placement can differ. Pokémon also lists official Team Rocket tins containing a foil promo and booster packs. The listed promo choices include Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex, Nidoking ex, or Persian ex. See the official Pokémon UK Team Rocket Tin gallery.
A tin or booster pack does not guarantee any specific secret rare. The available sources establish the product contents and set relationship, not pull odds, current stock, or present-day prices.
