Delta Force, the free-to-play first-person shooter on Steam, has a free Warfare Map Pack available as separate downloadable content. It adds eight multiplayer maps, but the cited Steam announcement and SteamDB package record do not publish an expiration date, so treat “claim until next week” as unverified until the live Steam listing shows a regional deadline.
What the free Delta Force DLC includes
Steam’s announcement says the Warfare Map Pack and the separate Operations Map Pack are both free. Valve delivers them as individual Steam DLC packages so players can access every map without making one large mandatory download for everyone. The Warfare pack is the one built for Delta Force’s Warfare mode.

The pack is digital content; there is no purchase price to pay on Steam. SteamDB identifies it as DLC for the Delta Force application and records that ownership of the base game is required.
Do you need to own Delta Force?
Yes. SteamDB’s package record lists Delta Force ownership as a requirement. The free label applies to the map-pack DLC itself, not to a separate entitlement that works without the base application. Sign in to the Steam account that owns or can access Delta Force before trying to add the pack.

How to claim and install the Warfare Map Pack
- Open Steam and sign in to the account you use for Delta Force.
- Open Library, select Delta Force, and open the game’s properties. In the DLC section, locate the Warfare Map Pack and start its installation.
- Let Steam finish downloading the package, then launch Delta Force and enter Warfare matchmaking.
- If matchmaking requires a map that is not installed, follow Steam’s download prompt. Steam says the packs can also be downloaded this way when a required map is encountered.
If the DLC does not appear, confirm that the correct Steam account owns the base game, check the game’s Library properties rather than the in-game store, and restart Steam so the client refreshes the available DLC list.
How large is the download?
SteamDB’s depot metadata lists approximately 46.67 GiB for the Warfare Map Pack’s compressed-size metadata and approximately 45.03 GiB for its download metadata. Those figures are package metadata, not a guarantee of the final disk space used after Steam installation, updates, or file verification. Leave additional storage available and expect the client to display the current requirement before downloading.

When does the free offer expire?
The “until next week” wording is not supported by an expiry date in the cited records. Steam’s announcement confirms that the packs are free, while SteamDB’s package entry confirms the DLC relationship and free-on-demand status; neither gives a closing time. Regional storefront timing can also differ.

If Steam displays an end date or time, use that localised value rather than converting a headline’s “next week” wording yourself. If no end date appears, the offer’s duration remains unconfirmed, although the pack is currently listed as free in the referenced records.

Steam’s separate-pack approach
Steam explains that Operations and Warfare are supplied as separate DLC packages to reduce the mandatory download size while keeping every map accessible. That means installing only the pack required for your mode can avoid downloading both sets at once. The Operations pack is also described as free, but the cited material does not provide its map list or a separate size figure.
