Sony’s July 2022 PlayStation Plus monthly games were Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time (PS4 and PS5), The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan (PS4), and Arcadegeddon (PS4 and PS5). Members could add them to their libraries from July 5 through August 1, 2022; that promotion has ended.
Which games were on PS Plus in July 2022?
Sony announced the lineup on June 29, 2022. Its post said members could add all three games to their libraries during the July 5–August 1 claim window. The word “free” described the monthly-game offer for PlayStation Plus members, not a game giveaway available without membership.

How the games differ
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time
Sony framed Crash Bandicoot 4 as a new adventure in which Dr. Neo Cortex and N. Tropy attack across a multiverse. Its lineup of playable characters includes Crash and Coco as well as Tawna, Dingodile, and Dr. Neo Cortex.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan
Man of Medan centers on five friends whose diving trip turns into a horror story. Sony described the game as playable solo, online with a friend, or offline with up to five players. Characters can live or die depending on the choices made during the story.

No. Sony’s announced claim period ran from July 5 to August 1, 2022, and has passed. The announcement establishes that window, but does not establish current regional catalog listings or whether any of the games are included in a present-day PlayStation Plus catalog. Check the PlayStation Store for current availability in your region.

What did “free” mean for this offer?

Sony also noted that online multiplayer requires PlayStation Plus membership and that the service has a recurring subscription fee. The announcement does not establish current plan terms or prices.
