Amazon’s October 2026 Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6–7, ending at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7, and event offers require Prime membership, according to Amazon. The available deal reporting names five PS5-related products, but does not verify ten live offers or confirm that any listed price remains available. Treat the examples below as leads to check—not a current top-ten sale list.
What to know about the October PS5 sale
The October Amazon event is called Prime Big Deal Days, not Prime Day. Amazon’s event page says the 48-hour sale runs October 6 through October 7, 2026, ending at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on October 7. Amazon says Prime membership is required for event deals. Check the event page for membership cost and trial eligibility, since those terms can change. Amazon’s event details
Amazon’s separate Prime Day 2026 ran June 23–26; those dates are not the October event. Amazon’s Prime Day announcement
PS5-related deal examples to check
Tom’s Guide published these prices in an early October 2026 gaming roundup. They are dated editorial examples, not confirmation that the same prices, sellers, stock, or Prime terms are available now. Check the product listing and checkout for your region before buying. Tom’s Guide’s roundup

The listed “previously” prices are the roundup’s comparisons, not a guarantee of savings against the price you would otherwise pay. The five examples also do not establish ten live PS5 offers.
How to judge a PS5 deal before checkout
- Check the actual offer: Record the current price, seller, condition, stock, return terms, Prime requirement, and time checked. A deal headline or old price is not enough to establish the checkout offer.
- Identify the exact product: For games, distinguish physical copies from digital editions. For accessories, confirm the model and capacity where relevant.
- Separate console models: A console listing should specify the PS5 edition, storage, disc-drive configuration, bundle contents, seller, and whether it is new or refurbished. Do not compare unlike configurations as if they were the same offer.
- Include the full cost: Account for any required membership and any extra hardware needed to use an accessory.
- Use your local deadline: The stated event end time is PDT. Convert it to your local time and verify that the offer is available in your market.
Console deals and PlayStation’s own promotions
The current PlayStation Direct storefront lists a certified refurbished PS5 slim digital console, but that does not establish an Amazon Prime Big Deal Days offer. Check the listing for its exact configuration and condition before comparing it with a new console or bundle. PlayStation Direct consoles

PlayStation’s Days of Play 2026 ran May 27–June 10, so it is a separate, ended promotion—not evidence of October discounts. Sony said offers could appear through PlayStation Direct where available, participating retailers at varying prices, and PlayStation Store. PlayStation’s Days of Play announcement
