There is no confirmed, market-wide PS5 Pro restock today. The latest evidence available here is a dated snapshot: the UK PlayStation Store listed the console as out of stock, Sony Store Singapore showed a backorder with shipping to be confirmed, and a US retailer roundup reported major chains out of stock on September 17–19, 2026. Check your local retailer’s live listing before travelling or paying; those reports do not establish stock on October 4 in every market.

| United Kingdom | PlayStation UK listed the console as “Currently Out of stock, check back soon.” | No purchase was available on that listing when checked. Recheck the page for a change in status and the current terms for delivery, returns and any PlayStation Plus member discount. |
| Singapore | Sony Store Singapore showed backorder and shipping to be confirmed, with a back-in-stock notification option. | A backorder or notification is not an in-stock offer or a confirmed ship date. |
| United States | Tom’s Guide reported Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target and PlayStation Direct out of stock in its September 17–19, 2026 snapshot. | This is dated reporting, not current inventory. The roundup also described selected-location open-box units and location-dependent used or refurbished listings. |
| Japan | Tom’s Hardware reported a Japan-specific Sony Store application and lottery process. | The report said applicants needed a Japanese Sony account and at least 60 logged PS4/PS5 play hours during September 27, 2024–September 27, 2026; applications were to open October 7, with sales to ticket holders on October 26. Check the official Sony Store for current terms. This is not a global pre-order route. |
How to judge a listing before you buy
“Available” can mean very different things. Confirm the condition and seller, then check whether the console is ready to ship, on backorder, or merely available for a stock alert. Before checkout, review delivery or pickup timing, return terms, warranty coverage and the total price including shipping.
- New retail: Confirm the seller is the retailer or an authorized seller, and compare the price with the retailer’s current local listing.
- Open-box, used or refurbished: Treat these as distinct from new stock. Read the condition description and confirm the return and warranty terms; availability may depend on location.
- Marketplace offers: Check who actually sells and ships the console. Tom’s Guide’s September US snapshot warned of third-party listings above $1,300; that is a dated report, not a current price quote or a typical retail price.
- Backorder or notification: Neither guarantees a dispatch date. Wait for a clear in-stock status and delivery estimate if timing matters.
What the PS5 Pro includes
The PS5 Pro is a 2TB digital-only console. Sony’s UK listing identifies regional model CFI-7021; model identifiers can differ by region. Sony says the box includes one DualSense controller, horizontal feet, an HDMI cable, a power cord, printed documentation and Astro’s Playroom preinstalled. Some SSD capacity is reserved for system functions, so the usable space is lower than the headline capacity.

Sony’s September 10, 2024 announcement set launch MSRPs at $699.99 in the US, £699.99 in the UK, €799.99 in Europe and ¥119,980 in Japan, including tax for the Japanese price. These are historical launch prices, not a statement of today’s price. Tom’s Guide reported a US retail price of $899 as of March 2026 after an increase from the $699 launch price. Neither figure establishes the current price in another region; verify the retailer’s live local listing.

What a Pro restock does—and does not—promise
Sony’s September 2024 announcement compared PS5 Pro with the then-current PS5, claiming 67% more GPU Compute Units, 28% faster memory and up to 45% faster rendering. Sony also said ray-tracing rays could be cast at double and sometimes triple the speed. Those are manufacturer comparisons, not independent test results, and Sony says Pro features apply only to selected enhanced PS5 games and vary by game. They should not be read as a guarantee that every game will run at a particular resolution or frame rate.
