PUBG Lite PC’s historical minimum requirements were a 64-bit version of Windows 7, 8 or 10, an Intel Core i3 at 2.4 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4000 and 4 GB of HDD space. But the official PC service ended on April 29, 2021, so meeting those specs does not let you play the official game today.
What were PUBG Lite PC’s minimum requirements?
The original PUBG Lite PC announcement listed these minimum specifications. They describe an older version of the game, not an active requirement for a supported service.
| Component | Historical minimum | Historical recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10, 64-bit | Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10, 64-bit |
| Processor | Intel Core i3 at 2.4 GHz | Intel Core i5 at 2.8 GHz |
| Memory | 4 GB RAM | 8 GB RAM |
| Graphics | Intel HD Graphics 4000 | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 |
| Storage | 4 GB HDD space | 4 GB HDD space |
The original PUBG Lite announcement described a separate, lower-spec PC game intended to run on less powerful systems, including computers with integrated graphics. It was not simply a low-graphics setting inside PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.
What did “minimum” mean?
The listed minimum was a baseline specification, not a promise of smooth frame rates, a particular resolution, high-quality visuals or competitive performance. The minimum graphics entry names Intel HD Graphics 4000; it does not guarantee that every integrated GPU will work equally well. The recommended CPU entry gives a Core i5 clock speed but not a specific processor generation or model, and the listed graphics cards are from an older hardware era.

The 4 GB storage figure is the published requirement for that historical build. It should not be treated as a current installation estimate or as sufficient free space for a computer’s operating system, updates and temporary files.
Can you still download or play PUBG Lite PC?
No official active PC service remains. According to PCGamesN’s report of Krafton’s termination notice, downloads stopped on March 30, 2021, service ended on April 29, 2021, and player support ended on May 29, 2021. The service end is the decisive point: a computer that met or exceeded the old requirements still cannot use the official online game today.
Be cautious of sites advertising an “official” PUBG Lite installer, a modified launcher or a working private server. An installer hosted by a third party is not evidence that it is genuine, safe, authorized or able to connect to official servers. The continued appearance of the old specs on download pages does not mean the service is available; for example, this unofficial site is not an official source.

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is the current PC game; it is a different product from discontinued PUBG Lite PC. Steam Support lists these PC specifications for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS:
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10, 64-bit | Not stated in the cited Steam Support requirements |
| Processor | Intel Core i5-4430 or AMD FX-6300 | Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 |
| Memory | 8 GB RAM | 16 GB RAM |
| Graphics | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2 GB or AMD Radeon R7 370 2 GB | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 4 GB |
| DirectX | Version 11 | Not stated in the cited Steam Support requirements |
| Storage | 40 GB available space | 50 GB available space |
| Network | Broadband internet connection | Not stated in the cited Steam Support requirements |
These are the PC requirements listed by Steam Support for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. They are for a different game and should not be read as a conversion of PUBG Lite’s older specs. In particular, the current game lists twice the old Lite minimum RAM and calls for a dedicated GTX 960- or R7 370-class graphics card.

Krafton said Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 would no longer be supported for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS after January 1, 2024, including on Steam, Epic Games Store and Kakao. The old PUBG Lite operating-system list is not a way around current-game support requirements. See Krafton’s Windows support notice.
Is PUBG Lite the same as PUBG MOBILE LITE?
No. PUBG MOBILE LITE is a separate Android game, not a Windows PC edition. Its official page describes an approximately 500 MB installation package and support for devices with 1 GB RAM; it also says its accounts are separate from PUBG MOBILE accounts. Those mobile details do not establish PC compatibility or recreate PUBG Lite PC. See the official PUBG MOBILE LITE page for its product information and regional availability.

What should a low-end PC owner do?
- If you specifically want PUBG Lite PC: There is no official current route to download and play its PC service.
- If you want PUBG on PC: Compare your system with the current PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS requirements above. Meeting minimum specs is not a performance guarantee.
- If you meant the mobile Lite game: Check the official PUBG MOBILE LITE information for Android details and regional availability; it is not the former PC game.
The current PC game is listed on the official PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Steam page.
