The official PUBG MOBILE LITE site links to Google Play and a publisher APK, while APKMirror lists the 0.24.0 package in two Android-architecture variants. Neither the official site nor Google Play promises that this old build will connect to current game services or work without a VPN in every region.
Where to get PUBG MOBILE LITE
Start with the official PUBG MOBILE LITE website, which links to Google Play and an APK download. These are the publisher’s distribution routes; check the current page for availability in your country and on your device. The official page describes Lite as optimized for devices with less RAM and a smaller map designed for 60 players.
If you specifically need version 0.24.0, APKMirror’s 0.24.0 archive page lists two packages. APKMirror is a third-party archive, not the publisher. It lists later versions as well, so 0.24.0 should be treated as a historical release rather than the latest one.
Which 0.24.0 APK variant fits your phone?
APKMirror records both variants as published on December 15, 2022. Choose according to your device’s Android version and processor architecture:

| Variant listed by APKMirror | Version code | Minimum Android version | Compatibility note |
|---|---|---|---|
| armeabi-v7a | 15110 | Android 4.3+ | For compatible 32-bit ARM devices. |
| arm64-v8a | 15111 | Android 10+ | For compatible 64-bit ARM devices. |
These details describe the variants in APKMirror’s archive; they do not establish that either package will install on every device meeting the stated Android minimum. Confirm your device’s Android version and CPU architecture before choosing. The archive also lists 0.25.0 dated March 7, 2023, 0.27.0 dated January 19, 2024, and 0.26.0 dated June 24, 2025. Because the archive’s listed ordering is unusual, those entries should not be used to infer a release sequence.
Does version 0.24.0 need a separate OBB file?
The official download pages reviewed do not establish a separate manual OBB download or placement step for 0.24.0. AndroidSage’s article, dated December 26, 2022 and updated March 7, 2023, describes downloading an OBB named main.15111.com.tencent.iglite.obb and placing it in Android/obb/com.tencent.iglite. It also says launching the app should fetch OBB files from official servers. That is third-party guidance, not an official installation requirement; its filename corresponds to the arm64-v8a package’s version code 15111, not the 15110 armeabi-v7a variant.

Prefer the official site’s APK route where available and follow the installation instructions shown by the publisher. If you use an archived package, do not assume a separately sourced OBB is authentic, compatible, or necessary. APKMirror says its reviewed APKs are signed by Level Infinite and provides a SHA-256 fingerprint; that information applies to the archive’s reviewed files and is not an independent guarantee about a file obtained elsewhere or whether the game remains playable.
Storage and device requirements vary by listing
The official PUBG MOBILE LITE FAQ describes the installation pack as about 500 MB and references devices with 1 GB RAM. Google Play’s Level Infinite listing states 600 MB of free space and 1 GB RAM. These figures use different wording and come from different sources; neither is a guarantee of the exact space needed by the archived 0.24.0 build. Leave additional free storage for downloaded game data and updates.

Does “NO VPN” mean 0.24.0 works everywhere?
No universal no-VPN guarantee is established by the official sources reviewed. AndroidSage claims that a VPN is not needed anywhere in the world, but that is the blog’s dated claim, not a promise from PUBG MOBILE LITE’s official website or Google Play. Access and playability can depend on region, device, network, store availability, and whether the game services are operating. The reviewed sources do not confirm that version 0.24.0 still connects to current servers.
