Before PUBG MOBILE’s Royale Pass Season 9 began in September 2019, contemporary previews reported several themed cosmetics: the Observer Cover and set, Draconian Champion set, Infected Grizzly M249 skin, and Infected Grizzly Dacia finish. These were leak-era reports, not a definitive official reward list; PUBG MOBILE’s patch notes confirmed the season’s “path of warriors” theme but did not name those items.
What was reported for Season 9?
In previews published September 10, 2019, ONE Esports and The Indian Express both named the Observer Cover, Observer set, Draconian Champion set, Infected Grizzly M249, and Infected Grizzly Dacia. Treat these as reported or expected Season 9 cosmetics rather than assuming every pre-release detail was confirmed in the patch notes.
ONE Esports also referred to bags, parachutes, helmets, and emotes, but the reviewed text does not establish exact names or reward levels for those items. In particular, it does not provide a definitive named Season 9 parachute skin.
Reported outfits, weapon skin, and Dacia finish
| Cosmetic category | Reported item | What the sources establish |
|---|---|---|
| Outfit and headwear | Observer set and Observer Cover | Named by both ONE Esports and The Indian Express as expected Season 9 content. |
| Outfit | Draconian Champion set | Named by both outlets as expected Season 9 content. |
| Weapon finish | Infected Grizzly M249 | Named by both outlets as expected Season 9 content; no gameplay advantage is established. |
| Vehicle finish | Infected Grizzly Dacia | Named by both outlets as expected Season 9 content. |
| Parachute and other accessories | Not individually named in the reviewed reporting | ONE Esports mentioned parachutes, bags, helmets, and emotes without establishing exact item names or reward levels. |
What was official—and what remained a preview?
PUBG MOBILE’s Patch Notes 0.14.5, dated September 12, 2019, said: “Royale Pass Season 9 is about the path of warriors.” The notes confirm the season theme and pass-related improvements, but they do not list the cosmetics named in contemporary previews.

How the Royale Pass related to these rewards
PUBG MOBILE’s Royale Pass page describes a Free Pass and an Elite Pass, with Royale Points earned through missions and some events or crates and used toward progression. The page lists the Elite Pass at 600 UC and says Elite Pass Plus includes the Elite Pass and grants 25 ranks. Those are the terms shown on the official page now; they should not be assumed to describe unchanged 2019 pricing or rules. The official page does not map the reported Season 9 cosmetics to specific ranks or missions.
