The file quilib.dll is most strongly associated with iQIYI Video, not with Windows itself.
The safest repair is to identify the calling program, then repair or reinstall the matching iQIYI component from the official iQIYI Windows download page. Do not download a replacement DLL into System32 or SysWOW64.
Which fix applies to you
Use the first description that matches what you see:
- The error names iQIYI Video or iQIYI Uploader: repair or reinstall that iQIYI installation.
- The error appears after an iQIYI update or failed installation: reinstall the complete current client rather than replacing only the DLL.
- Windows Security recently detected or quarantined the file: inspect Protection history before restoring anything.
- The file exists but Windows reports an entry-point or architecture error: check whether the application and DLL belong to the same build and bitness.
- The error names
explorer.exe: investigate an iQIYI shell extension, updater, or startup component. This does not makequilib.dlla Windows file. - Several unrelated applications are failing: check Windows component health with DISM and SFC, then investigate storage or malware.
- The file is in a temporary, download, or unfamiliar folder: treat it as suspicious until its origin and signature are verified.
What quilib.dll belongs to
Public file metadata describes QuiLib.dll as 爱奇艺视频界面库, translated as an iQIYI video interface library. Reported publisher information associates it with iQIYI, including the signing identity Beijing iQIYI Science & Technology Co., Ltd.

Observed locations include paths similar to:
%ProgramFiles%IQIYI VideoUploaderbinQuiLib.dll
%ProgramFiles%IQIYI Videolstyle<version>qyapppluginQuiLib.dll
These paths help identify a legitimate installation, but a matching name or location does not prove that every copy is safe. Public evidence for this file is predominantly 32-bit. A 64-bit Windows installation may still need a 32-bit DLL if the parent iQIYI program is 32-bit.
The filename alone cannot identify the exact iQIYI release that installed a copy. Public database records list different versions, including 32-bit records such as 5.1.22.39 and 5.1.17.66, but these are not an official iQIYI release list.
Fix 1: Repair or reinstall iQIYI
This is the most likely solution for a missing, deleted, or damaged quilib.dll.
Try Windows app repair first
- Press Windows + I to open Settings.
- Select Apps.
- Select Installed apps on Windows 11, or Apps & features on Windows 10.
- Find iQIYI, iQIYI Video, or the application named in the error.
- Select the three-dot menu, then choose Advanced options if it appears.
- Select Repair.
- Start the application again.
Repair does not remove your personal data when Windows provides the option. If there is no Repair button, or Repair does not restore the file, use Reset only if you accept the application’s settings being cleared.
Not every traditional desktop program exposes these controls. If iQIYI is not listed or the repair controls are unavailable, continue with a reinstall.
Reinstall from the official source
- Close iQIYI and any related updater or uploader process.
- Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps.
- Uninstall the iQIYI application that produced the error.
- Restart Windows.
- Download the current Windows client from iQIYI’s official PC download page.
- Run the installer, preferably with an administrator account.
- Start iQIYI and confirm whether the original error has disappeared.
If iQIYI was installed through a launcher, software bundle, or enterprise deployment tool, use that same source to verify or repair the installation. A separately downloaded DLL may not match the launcher’s application build or supporting files.

A successful repair normally means the program starts without the quilib.dll message and the DLL is restored inside the application’s own directory. If the error changes to an entry-point message, the file may now exist but belong to the wrong release.
Fix 2: Check antivirus quarantine
Security software can remove or quarantine a DLL after an update, incomplete scan, or change in detection rules.

- Open Windows Security from the Start menu.
- Select Virus & threat protection.
- Select Protection history.
- Look for an event involving
quilib.dll, iQIYI, or the installation directory. - Expand the event and record the original file path.
- Compare that path with the expected iQIYI directory.
- Check the file’s digital signature and installer provenance before taking action.
Restore or allow the file only when the path, signature, installer source, and security scan results support that it is genuine. Restoring a quarantined item puts it back on the computer, and Microsoft Defender may detect it again.
If you are uncertain, do not restore the file. Remove the iQIYI installation, scan the computer, and reinstall iQIYI from its official source. A file found in a temporary folder, a download directory, or an unrelated system location deserves additional investigation.
Fix 3: Verify the application and DLL architecture
A 32-bit application generally requires its compatible 32-bit dependencies. Windows being 64-bit does not mean every application needs a 64-bit DLL.
To check the application:
- Right-click the application’s shortcut and select Open file location.
- Right-click the main executable and choose Properties.
- Select the Details and Compatibility tabs for available information.
- Note whether the program is installed under
Program FilesorProgram Files (x86). - Check the
quilib.dllfile’s Properties → Details and Digital Signatures tabs.
The folder location is only a clue. It is not a substitute for a signature check or a complete reinstall. Do not mix a DLL from one iQIYI build with executables from another.

If the message says “The procedure entry point could not be located” or “not designed to run on Windows,” reinstall the complete parent application. Those errors often indicate a mismatched, damaged, or incompatible file rather than a simple missing file.
Fix 4: Do not use regsvr32 unless the DLL is a COM component
regsvr32 is not a general DLL repair command. It is intended for self-registering COM libraries that provide the DllRegisterServer entry point.
Running this against an ordinary private application library can produce an error such as:
The module was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found.
That result does not mean Windows failed to repair the file. It means registration is not the appropriate operation. There is no verified evidence that quilib.dll is a self-registering COM component, so do not use commands such as these as a routine fix:

The correct location for an application DLL is normally the application’s directory, restored by the application installer.
Fix 5: Repair broader Windows corruption
Use Windows repair commands when multiple applications fail, Windows itself behaves abnormally, or there is evidence of damaged protected system components. They are not guaranteed to repair a third-party DLL inside an iQIYI folder.

- Right-click Start.
- Select Terminal (Admin) or Command Prompt (Admin).
- Approve the User Account Control prompt.
- Run:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
- Wait for it to finish.
- Run:
sfc /scannow
- Restart Windows.
- Try the affected application again.
DISM repairs the Windows image, while SFC checks protected Windows files. Neither command is a replacement for reinstalling iQIYI when the missing file belongs to that application.
Repeatedly hunting through Windows folders and rerunning SFC or DISM can make it difficult to tell what changed. Outbyte PC Repair can scan for reported system problems and show what needs attention; its repair functions require the full version, but reinstalling iQIYI remains the definitive fix for an iQIYI-owned application file.

Also install pending Windows updates through Settings → Windows Update, especially when several Windows components are failing. Do not install Visual C++ Redistributables, DirectX, or .NET solely because the filename ends in .dll; there is no evidence that quilib.dll is one of those Microsoft runtime files.
Fix 6: Use System Restore after a recent change
System Restore is appropriate when the error began immediately after an update, failed installation, driver change, or system modification and a suitable restore point exists.
- Press Windows + R.
- Type:
rstrui.exe
- Press Enter.
- Select Next.
- Choose a restore point created before the problem began.
- Select Scan for affected programs if available.
- Review the changes.
- Select Finish and allow Windows to restart.
System Restore does not replace a damaged application installer in every case. If the error remains, reinstall the affected iQIYI component.

A quilib.dll error by itself does not identify a graphics, audio, chipset, or storage driver problem. Update drivers when Device Manager shows an error, the failure began after a driver change, or several programs are crashing with hardware-related symptoms.
- Right-click Start.
- Select Device Manager.
- Expand the category related to the failing hardware.
- Right-click the device and select Properties.
- Review the Device status message and Driver tab.
- Use Update Driver or install the driver from the hardware manufacturer’s official support channel.
- Restart Windows and retest iQIYI.
Device Manager may report that the best available driver is already installed even when a newer vendor package exists. Outbyte Driver Updater can scan and identify outdated drivers, with driver installation handled by the full version; do not treat a driver update as the primary repair when reinstalling iQIYI is the direct solution.
Why DLL download sites are the wrong fix
A standalone quilib.dll download can be:
- the wrong iQIYI build;
- the wrong 32-bit or 64-bit architecture;
- modified, bundled, or malicious;
- missing other dependencies;
- incompatible with the executable already installed.
Copying it into C:WindowsSystem32 or C:WindowsSysWOW64 is especially unsafe. Windows searches application directories early, and system-folder placement can create version conflicts or DLL-preloading risks. It can also make future troubleshooting harder.

Use the official iQIYI installer to restore the DLL and its related files together.
Prevention after the repair
- Keep iQIYI updated through its official client or installer.
- Do not delete unfamiliar files from the iQIYI installation directory during disk cleanup.
- Review antivirus quarantine before manually restoring application files.
- Keep a record of the executable name and full DLL path when an error appears.
- Avoid registry cleaners and generic DLL repair utilities.
- Maintain current backups if the problem followed disk errors or malware.
- Do not move application DLLs between computers or iQIYI installations.
