Why the guide’s publication date may differ from the puzzle date

TechRadar published its guide on January 24, 2026, while identifying the puzzle as Sunday, January 25. Its explanation is that Quordle resets at midnight according to each player’s time zone: “A new Quordle puzzle appears at midnight each day for your time zone – which means that some people are always playing ‘today’s game’ while others are playing ‘yesterday’s’.” The date and game number identify the puzzle covered here.
