Quordle game #1528 is the Wednesday, April 1, 2026 puzzle. Its four answers are five-letter words, and you have nine guesses to solve them. Start with the hints below; the solutions are kept after a spoiler warning.
“Today” depends on your time zone: TechRadar reports that Quordle’s daily puzzle changes at midnight in each player’s local time, so the same puzzle may fall on a different calendar date for some players. TechRadar
Quordle hints for April 1
Use these clues before revealing the words:
- The answers begin with S, P, A, and A, in that order.
- Three of the four answers contain repeated letters; each of those has a pair of repeated letters.
- Across all four answers, every standard vowel—A, E, I, O, and U—appears.
- None of the answers contains Q, Z, X, or J.
More direct clues, in answer order

- A previous criminal conviction
- A proverb expressing a general truth

How Quordle works
Quordle asks you to guess four five-letter words at the same time, with nine attempts to find all four. A correctly placed letter turns green; a letter that is in the word but in the wrong position turns yellow. Forbes
