Unlock the systems that create recurring progress, claim every reset-based reward, then spend on the bottleneck that advances your current build. Before any purchase, check the live price, server availability, whether the benefit follows your character, and whether the result is guaranteed or chance-based.
Unlock levels, event rewards, item availability and upgrade costs can differ by region, server, class and patch. The milestones below come from a beginner reference guide rather than a current patch guarantee, so confirm each one in your own menus.

The core free-to-play spending rule
Every scarce resource should answer one question: what problem does this spend solve now? A weapon that removes a damage bottleneck, a card that fixes survivability and an upgrade that unlocks a new system can all be correct purchases at different points in the same character’s life. None is automatically first for every class or server.
Use this order when evaluating an offer, upgrade or exchange:

- Check the live cost. Open the relevant shop, upgrade screen or event page and record the exact currency, quantity and any daily or weekly limit. Older guides do not establish today’s price.
- Name the bottleneck. Decide whether you are blocked by an unavailable system, damage, survivability, a required card or an activity requirement.
- Measure persistence. Determine whether the benefit transfers with your character, stays on one equipment item or disappears when an event ends.
- Compare the alternative use. The same diamonds, tickets or activity currency may buy a guaranteed upgrade, a material bundle or a chance-based roll. Compare outcomes, not the shop’s advertised percentage.
- Recheck before confirming. Event stores, exchange inventories and bonus offers are time-sensitive. If the item is not needed for your current goal, hold the currency.
This is a decision framework, not a developer-published optimal ranking. The available guides describe systems and acquisition routes but do not provide a universal cost-benefit table for every class and server.
Unlock progression systems before optimizing them
The beginner guide reports the following Base Level milestones. Treat them as guide-reported mechanics and verify the unlock notification on your live server.
| Base Level | System or milestone | Why it matters for a free-to-play player | What to do |
|---|---|---|---|
| 15 | First class-specific weapon becomes craftable | Provides a direct route to a weapon suited to your job instead of relying only on drops. | Check the craft list, gather materials and avoid spending premium currency on a replacement before comparing its actual stats. |
| 16 | Daily Commissions unlock | The guide describes daily-reset tasks that award Base EXP, Job EXP and items. | Complete and claim them before the reset; verify the current task list and reward amounts in the Daily menu. |
| 20 | Redeem-code function unlocks | Codes can provide time-limited or account-bound items when a valid code exists. | Use only codes from an official or trusted current announcement and check the expiration date. |
| 23 | Card System unlocks | Cards can change damage, defenses and utility, making this the point at which targeted collection becomes meaningful. | Open the card interface, identify effects that fit your job and map the available acquisition route before buying anything. |
| 27 | Emblem System unlocks | Adds another progression layer that may compete for materials with equipment development. | Read the live material requirements first; do not divert all currency from a more urgent weapon or defensive upgrade. |
| 30 | Memories of the Sage Book 1 unlocks | Introduces another system to develop after the early equipment and card foundations are in place. | Check its tasks and currencies in-game and add them to your routine only after securing recurring daily rewards. |
The same guide also describes equipment crafting, trading, enhancement, refinement, growth rewards, mentoring, guild quests and a second job change. These systems may appear in a different order, use different values or be unavailable during a particular event cycle. Use the level milestones as a checklist, not as a promise that every server has identical content.
Your first priority: recurring rewards that expire
Free players lose more progress by missing a reset than by choosing a merely good upgrade instead of the theoretically best one. At each login, inspect the activities that expire or reset:
- Daily Commissions: The beginner guide describes daily tasks granting Base EXP, Job EXP and items. Finish them and press the claim button; an unclaimed completion is not useful after a reset.
- Deviruchi Rescue: The guide lists daily rewards for this activity. Confirm its current entry requirements, attempts and reward table.
- Guild quests: Guild activities can supply progression currency or materials while also advancing guild participation. Check whether a quest has a daily cap or a contribution requirement.
- Events: Event pages can contain the best temporary exchanges, but their currencies and inventories change. Spend event currency before its expiry only when the reward improves your current plan.
- Growth rewards: Level-based reward tracks are easy to overlook. Open the growth or progression screen after gaining a level and claim every available tier.
Make a short routine: open the event page, Daily menu, guild page and growth-reward screen before farming or shopping. The guides establish that these categories exist; they do not establish today’s schedule or quantities, so the live interface is authoritative for your account.

How to decide where diamonds go
Community players often ask for a single “diamond priority.” No source establishes a universal ranking, and the correct answer changes with your class, level, server economy and patch. Use the following branches instead.
Spend diamonds when they remove a near-term progression gate
A purchase is easier to justify when it lets you enter a system, complete a required quest, equip a necessary item or meet an activity threshold you will use repeatedly. Verify that the purchase actually removes the gate; a cosmetic or temporary boost that leaves the blocker untouched is not a progression solution.
Prefer benefits that remain useful after gear changes
The beginner guide describes enhancement as character-bound and says its enhancement transfers when equipment is changed or upgraded. Refinement is applied to equipment. That difference suggests enhancement can be less tied to one item than refinement, but the comparison is an inference from the guide’s description, not a guarantee that enhancement is always the better diamond spend. Check the current transfer behavior, cost and failure rules on your server.
Be cautious with chance-based purchases
A roll, chest or random card pack can produce a high-value result, but its outcome is less predictable than a known upgrade. Before using diamonds, identify the worst plausible result, the duplicate or exchange rules and whether the item is tradable. A guaranteed improvement normally has clearer value when you are trying to clear a specific damage or survival check.
Keep a reserve for the next reset or event
Do not empty your currency because an offer is visible. Leave enough for a confirmed daily exchange, a required material or an event reward that directly matches your build. The Google Play listing describes the game as free to download while noting that some content or features require in-app payment; free-to-play progression therefore depends on disciplined use of earned currency rather than assuming paid offers are necessary.

Enhancement versus refinement
These systems solve different problems and should not be treated as interchangeable.
| Question | Enhancement | Refinement |
|---|---|---|
| What the guide says it affects | Character-bound enhancement using thread and diamonds. | Improvement applied to equipment. |
| What happens when equipment changes | The guide says enhancement transfers when equipment is changed or upgraded. | Its value is tied to the equipment being refined; check the live transfer or replacement rules. |
| When to consider it | When a persistent character improvement fixes a current combat check and the live cost is acceptable. | When you are keeping the item long enough for the equipment-specific investment to pay off. |
| Evidence limitation | No current server-wide cost or breakpoint is established. | No current server-wide cost or breakpoint is established. |
Do not infer that every enhancement level transfers identically across every upgrade path. Open the confirmation screen and read the transfer warning before committing thread or diamonds.
Cards: choose the effect before the acquisition route
Cards are often the first system that tempts a free player into inefficient spending. Start with the effect your build needs, then select the least costly reliable route available on your server.
Define the card job
- Damage: Choose effects that match your weapon type, element, skill or target category rather than a card with a larger-looking number that your build cannot activate.
- Survivability: A defensive card can be the correct “damage” investment if it lets you remain alive long enough to finish commissions, guild content or a boss attempt.
- Utility: Accuracy, resource efficiency, movement or control resistance may solve a specific encounter even when the card has no headline attack stat.
Compare the listed routes
The card guide lists several possible channels: guild vending, co-op shop, container shop, academy store, card exchange, trade store, auction and card points. It also describes trading and other systems that can offer monster cards or related goods. Availability, price, stock and required activity can change, so compare these fields in the live interface:
| Check | Why it changes the decision |
|---|---|
| Currency or activity required | A card that costs guild or co-op currency may be cheaper in diamonds but more expensive in time. |
| Guaranteed or random result | A direct exchange has a known outcome; a container or roll may produce a duplicate or an unwanted card. |
| Tradability | A tradable card can retain market value or be moved between characters only where the server rules permit; a bound card cannot. |
| Effect and slot compatibility | The card is useful only if your equipment, job and build can use its effect. |
| Purchase limit and reset | A weekly stock may justify saving currency, while a permanent listing can be bought later after a more urgent upgrade. |
The guide does not rank these routes or publish current yields. Do not turn the existence of eight channels into a claim that one is always cheapest.

Equipment crafting and trading decisions
At Base Level 15, the beginner guide says a class-specific weapon becomes craftable. Before crafting, compare the finished weapon with your current item on the actual character sheet. Include usable skill effects, attack speed, elemental interaction, durability and the materials you would have spent elsewhere.
The guide describes Trading as a source for monster cards, cooked foods, crafted potions and headgear blueprints. A trade-store purchase can be sensible when it completes a known build goal and the market price is below the value of the materials or currency you would otherwise use. It is risky when you buy an item merely because it is scarce, without checking whether your job can equip it or whether the listing is temporary.
A practical craft-or-buy checklist
- Can you craft the item now, or is the class and level requirement still locked?
- Does the item improve the stat or skill that currently stops your progression?
- Are the materials also needed for a card, emblem or recurring activity?
- Is the traded alternative bound, tradable or subject to a purchase limit?
- Will you keep the item through the next upgrade, or replace it immediately?
A level-by-level free-to-play route
Early levels: establish the routine
Follow the main quests to learn combat and unlock the basic interfaces. Save premium currency while you identify your job’s equipment and card requirements. Claim growth rewards, join a guild when available and learn where daily tasks, events and exchanges are displayed. Do not spend simply to accelerate a tutorial objective that will complete through normal questing.
Base Level 15–22: craft and collect
When the class-specific weapon becomes available according to the guide, inspect its materials and performance. At Base Level 16, add Daily Commissions to the routine and complete them every reset. Use earned materials on the upgrade that removes your current combat bottleneck. At Base Level 20, check the redeem-code function for current, legitimate codes; never treat an expired code list as a guaranteed reward.

When the Card System unlocks at the guide’s reported Base Level 23, write down two or three effects your build actually needs. Check guild, co-op, academy, container, exchange, trade, auction and card-points routes, then choose a route based on live cost and certainty. At Base Level 27, inspect the Emblem System but avoid spreading materials across every new tab at once.
Best Value
- Compatible with Wide Screens - To ensure compatibility with the dual monitor mount, your each monitor must meet three conditions at the same time: First, computer screens size range: 13 to 32 inches. Second, screen weight range: 4.4 to 19.8 lbs. Third, the back of the monitor screen must have VESA mounting holes with a pitch of 75x75mm or 100x100mm.
- Regarding the compatibility with desks - Your desk must meet three conditions at the same time: First, desk material: Only wooden desks are recommended, plastic or glass desks cannot be used. Second, desk thickness range: 0.59" - 3.54". Third, the bottom of the desk should not have any cross beams or panels, as this will interfere with installation. We recommend carefully checking that your desk and monitors meets all above conditions before purchasing.
- Dual C-Clamp Hold - Worried your dual monitors might wobble or slip? Our upgraded base uses a larger platform plus a dual C-clamp structure to lock the dual monitor arm firmly to your desk. Each arm safely keeps your screens steady while you type, click and game—no shaking, no sliding, just a clean and secure setup you can trust every day. It also provides Grommet Mounting installation choice, both options ensure stable and secure fixation for your 0.59" - 3.54" desk.
- Full-Motion Adjustment For Comfortable View - Pull the screen closer when you’re deep in a spreadsheet, push it back to watch videos, or rotate to portrait for coding — moving everything smoothly with just one hand. The monitor stand offers +85°/-50° tilt, ±90° swivel and 360° rotation. Raise your monitor up to 15.75″ to support a healthy sitting posture. Whether you’re working from home, gaming through the night, or switching between video calls and documents, getting the screens to your natural line of sight helps relieve neck, shoulder and back strain so you can stay focused longer with less fatigue.
- Keep Your Desk Organized: By lifting both screens off the desktop, this dual monitor stand opens up valuable space for your keyboard, notebook, docking station or a simple, clutter-free work area. Built-in cable management guides wires along the arms, keeping cords out of sight and out of the way. Enjoy a tidy, modern workstation that looks as good as it feels to use.
Base Level 30 and beyond: consolidate
The guide places Memories of the Sage Book 1 at Base Level 30. Add its requirements to the same bottleneck worksheet you use for gear and cards. Continue guild quests, Deviruchi Rescue, commissions, events and growth rewards, while reserving currency for upgrades that persist or complete a specific activity requirement. A second job change and the other systems described by the guide can change the priority for a particular class, so re-evaluate after each major job or equipment change.
What not to do with scarce resources
- Do not copy a Classic guide blindly. The BlueStacks strategy cited for Ragnarok Origin Classic is variant-specific. Its advice cannot automatically be transferred to another region, server or edition.
- Do not assume an old unlock level is current. Guides crawled months before the current date can describe an earlier patch. Use the live quest and menu requirements.
- Do not buy a card before checking its effect. A high rarity does not compensate for a mismatch with your job, slot or skills.
- Do not refine a disposable item without reading replacement rules. Equipment-bound investment may be lost, transferred differently or become inefficient when you upgrade.
- Do not spend event currency after the event closes. Check the expiry timer and exchange page before farming for a reward.
- Do not treat a paid offer as a requirement. The store listing confirms optional in-app payment exists, but it does not establish how much paid content changes any individual player’s progress.
- Do not trust an attractive percentage without the outcome rules. Read pity, duplicate, binding, exchange and failure information before buying a random bundle.
A simple resource ledger
Use a note on your phone or a spreadsheet with one row per resource. Record the current balance, the next reset, the intended use and the alternative you rejected. For example:
| Resource | Record | Decision question |
|---|---|---|
| Diamonds | Balance, income source, store expiry and reserved amount | Does this purchase fix a near-term bottleneck better than a guaranteed upgrade? |
| Thread | Current enhancement level and next live cost | Will the character-bound transfer property help after the next equipment change? |
| Guild or co-op currency | Weekly cap, current stock and next reset | Is the desired card or material available through a cheaper guaranteed exchange? |
| Event currency | Expiry date, exchange inventory and remaining earning opportunities | Which reward remains useful after the event and matches the present build goal? |
| Card points or exchange tokens | Balance and target card effect | Can a direct exchange complete the build sooner than a random container? |
Update the ledger after a job change, a new weapon, a major patch or an event rotation. The purpose is not accounting for its own sake; it prevents a temporary offer from consuming currency reserved for a known upgrade.
How to verify a guide against your server
- Open the in-game system or quest named in the guide.
- Read the displayed unlock level, material list, currency and reset timer.
- Check whether the item is available to your region, class and job branch.
- Look for an official news notice when an event, shop or reward is time-limited.
- Compare the confirmation screen with your ledger before pressing purchase, refine or exchange.
- After the transaction, confirm the item is bound or tradable as expected and that the upgrade applied to the intended character or equipment.
The Ragnarok Origin Global news listing demonstrates that updates and events are dated and time-sensitive. A news post can confirm that an event exists, but it does not by itself prove that the event is the best use of diamonds for your build.
Bottom-line decision tree
If a system is still locked, reach its unlock requirement through normal play before buying acceleration. Once Daily Commissions and other recurring activities are available, complete them every reset. If survival or damage blocks those activities, purchase the smallest live-cost upgrade that fixes the check. If your equipment is changing soon, favor a benefit whose transfer behavior is confirmed, such as the character-bound enhancement described by the beginner guide, rather than assuming an equipment-specific investment will carry over. When cards are the bottleneck, select the needed effect first and compare every currently available route. For any diamond offer, keep a reserve, read the binding and chance rules, and verify the price on your own server.
