Ubisoft announced a Year 10 roadmap for Rainbow Six Siege—not a promise of ten more years of content. Siege X launched on June 10, 2025, alongside Operation Daybreak. Its reveal outlined Free Access, the Dual Front mode and changes to maps, destruction, rappelling and audio. Those Year 10 plans are now historical: Ubisoft’s live roadmap, updated September 23, 2026, lists Year 11 Season 3, Operation Split Fire, as the latest release.

What did Ubisoft mean by a “ten-year roadmap”?

The announcement was Ubisoft’s Year 10 roadmap: a preview of plans for the game’s tenth year and the Siege X evolution. It did not set out a guaranteed ten-year forward content schedule. Ubisoft also described the roadmap as dynamic and cautioned that target dates could change. The reveal was published May 18, 2025. Ubisoft’s Year 10 roadmap announcement

When did Siege X launch, and what came with it?

Siege X launched June 10, 2025, as an evolution of the existing Rainbow Six Siege game. Operation Daybreak, Year 10 Season 2, launched on the same date, with a Clash remaster, balance adjustments and changes to electricity and limb damage. Ubisoft’s launch and roadmap announcement

What changed in Siege X?

Dual Front and Free Access

Dual Front is a 6v6 mode set on the District map. Each team combines attacking and defending Operators. Players respawn, capture objectives across sectors, then advance toward the opposing base. Ubisoft announced it for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Ubisoft’s Siege X showcase
