Why is the promo called his final one?
A Pro Wrestling Stories retrospective dates the promo’s release to January 19, 2011, and characterizes it as Savage’s last in-character promo. Because the original promo upload was not located, that precise date and definitive “last” description should be attributed to the retrospective rather than treated as confirmed by a primary video listing.

There is contemporaneous evidence that the clip was in circulation that month. On January 25, 2011, ESPN’s Jon Robinson reported that Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat had watched a video of Savage announcing that the madness was returning to WWE through the game. Steamboat recalled Savage’s voice as “a classic.”

What was WWE All Stars?
WWE All Stars used an exaggerated, arcade-inspired wrestling style to bring contemporary WWE stars together with Legends for fantasy matchups. Savage’s roster inclusion let players put him in the ring, rather than limiting his appearance to promotional material. John Cena, discussing his own use of the game in an interview published April 7, 2011, said: “I’m so happy that they got ‘Macho Man’ [Randy Savage] in the game. I really like seeing him.”
Which platforms and release dates are documented?
WWE lists versions for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP, Wii, and Xbox 360. For release timing, WWE contemporaneously reported the game available on March 29, 2011, while Nintendo UK lists April 1, 2011, for its Wii release. These are source- and platform-specific dates, not a single universal launch date.

CBS News reported that Savage died on May 20, 2011, aged 58; WWE also published a notice of his passing. That places the January promo roughly four months before his death. The game appearance establishes a promotional connection and a playable roster role, not a plan for Savage to return to WWE television.
