What was announced
The replica was presented as the first release in Raven Forge’s Legends Collection and is based on the sword from the original 2007 game. Insider Gaming’s November 29, 2024 report reproduced Raven Forge announcement copy describing it as a 1:1-scale replica. The announcement copy says: “This beautifully sculpted sword was meticulously crafted using over 200 references and hundreds of hours of gameplay from the original Assassin’s Creed released in 2007.” That is a promotional statement attributed to Raven Forge’s announcement, not an independently verified measurement or a quotation from a named individual.
Size, materials and included display item

Display prop, not a functional sword
Despite its steel construction and full tang, this is explicitly described as a blunt prop replica for display, not a toy. It should not be treated as a usable weapon. The Royal Armouries listing says it sells the replica only to people over 18; that is that seller’s policy and should not be assumed to describe every retailer or jurisdiction.

How current seller listings differ
The Royal Armouries page displayed £300 and “Only 1 piece in stock” when checked for the listing, while Raven Forge’s collection page displayed £159.99, discounted from £249.99. Those are seller-specific, time-sensitive listings—not a shared or guaranteed price. Check the seller’s page for the current price, availability, shipping terms and any regional restrictions before ordering.

The two pages provide no basis for judging comparative quality through testing. For a practical comparison, focus on the seller, live price and stock, the listed specifications, whether the plaque is included, and the blunt display-only status. Design claims and display considerations
The Royal Armouries listing says the replica was reverse-engineered from the game’s low-resolution polygons and pixels, and that the reversed-V detail below the triple fullers is hand-ground on each sword. These are descriptions from the seller/manufacturer listing, rather than independently assessed production details.
At 990 mm long and 1.1 kg, it is a substantial display object. A plaque is listed as included, so a separate wall mount is not automatically necessary. Anyone considering another mount should first confirm that it is compatible and rated to support the replica’s weight.
