The September announcements ranged from tools Roblox said had already launched to features still planned or in development; they are a record of what the company announced in 2024, not confirmation of what is available today.
When and where was RDC 2024?
Roblox’s Developers Conference took place September 6–7, 2024, as an invite-only hybrid event in San Jose, California, and online. Roblox described it as a gathering for developers, brands, and creators, with networking, breakout sessions, product demonstrations, and office hours. The in-person Roblox Innovation Awards ceremony was scheduled for the evening of September 7. Roblox’s March 12 event notice set out the dates and format.
What did Roblox say about platform reliability?
In its September 7 recap, Roblox said it had closed more than 3,300 bugs in the twelve months ending June 30, 2024, and fixed four times as many Studio bugs as in the prior year. These are company-reported figures, not independent measurements. Roblox presented the work as part of its effort to make the creator platform more reliable. The conference recap contains the figures.
Which creator tools and workflows were on the roadmap?
The announcements covered asset organization, team visibility, feedback, and automation, but did not all have the same status in September 2024.

These status labels describe the plans and launches Roblox reported at the conference; the recap does not establish which features remain available or have since changed. Roblox’s September 7 recap describes the roadmap.
What was Price Optimization?
Roblox announced Price Optimization as a recommendation tool to help creators choose prices for products and passes sold in their experiences. The announcement presented it as guidance for pricing decisions, not a promise of higher revenue or a guaranteed result. The recap does not verify its current availability. The RDC recap introduced the tool.

What did the Roblox–Shopify partnership propose?
Roblox named Shopify its first e-commerce integration partner. A September 19 creator AMA described a limited pilot planned for Q4 2024, followed by an intended expansion the next year. Under the plan, eligible US creators and brands could sell physical merchandise within experiences to users aged 13 and older.
Roblox also described ways to connect physical purchases with digital benefits, such as an avatar or in-experience item. APIs and webhooks were intended to support merchandising, checkout, and order confirmation. These details describe the plans Roblox discussed in 2024; they do not confirm the integration’s current rollout, eligibility rules, or terms. The September 19 AMA recap outlines the proposal.

What did Roblox say about anti-cheat and server authority?
In the September 19 AMA, Roblox said it was continuing to improve Hyperion, its Windows anti-tamper system, and developing mechanisms for Android and other platforms. It described a customizable anti-cheat toolbox as a longer-term goal and said server-authority support was in active development. Those statements record Roblox’s position at the time of the AMA; they do not establish the status of those efforts today. The AMA recap provides that historical context.
