Ready or Not VRO is a community-made VR mod for the PC game Ready or Not. At launch, PC Guide reported that VRO was free to download for people who already owned Ready or Not on Steam. That means the mod was free in that launch-era report, not that the base game was free or that the mod’s distribution terms are guaranteed to remain unchanged. What does the VRO mod add?
PC Guide highlighted full-motion hand controls as an improvement over the earlier UEVR approach. That is a reported feature, not a comprehensive inventory of everything in the current build. The Nexus listing and its posts also describe subsequent changes, including left-handed support and a fix related to the Boiling Point DLC update; those notes do not establish support for the game’s later v1.5 release.

Does VRO work with Ready or Not v1.5?
That remains unverified in the available sources. The Nexus listing shows VRO version 1031 and a latest update date of June 15, 2026. Ready or Not then received v1.5 on September 3, 2026, according to the Steam update history. VOID Interactive has explained that game updates can change files on which mods depend, potentially breaking them. Its changelog describes version sensitivity generally; it is not a VRO compatibility notice. Check the VRO listing and its support posts before installing or updating, and look for an explicit confirmation that the current VRO build supports your game version. Can your PC run Ready or Not in VR?
PC Guide relayed informal developer guidance that players should be able to run the mod “if you can run base RON on high settings,” and that “DLSS4 helps a ton.” Treat these as general guidance, not published minimum specifications or controlled performance results. The sources do not establish a required graphics card, frame rate, or specific headset model. Check the current mod listing for hardware and runtime guidance before setup.

When did Ready or Not VRO launch?
VRO launched on November 14, 2025, the same date shown as its original upload on Nexus Mods. The headline’s “launches today” wording is therefore historical. The mod’s listing shows a June 15, 2026 update, while Ready or Not’s v1.5 update followed on September 3, 2026. The cited sources do not establish that access is limited to a particular region.
