How do you start Strange Tales of the West?
These four Telegram Missions investigate supernatural incidents, including undead, swamp folk and reports of artificial life. To start, collect Theodore Levin’s letter at a Post Office or Camp Lockbox, then open it from your Satchel. You can also launch Telegram Missions through the Player Menu. The missions pay 4X RDO$, Gold and XP through November 2.

What does Wildlife Sampling pay, and how do you earn its rewards?
Selling Wildlife Samples to Harriet Davenport pays 3X RDO$, Role XP and XP during October. Additional rewards have separate requirements:

Defend friendly holdouts and survivor settlements against enemy waves on the event’s ten seasonal maps. Van Horn and Bronte Mansion are among the locations. The mode pays triple rewards throughout October, while its milestone rewards are:
- Reach Wave 5 on any map for the Rowberrow Outfit and Air Banjo Emote.
- Reach Wave 10 for the Beat Chest Emote and a Gold Bar.
- Play all ten maps from October 27 through November 2 to earn the orange Benbow Jacket.

- Pick up the returning Pelt Half Chaps, Tied Pants, Folwell Hat and Prieto Poncho.
- Assemble the free community-inspired outfit through the Catalogue or participating Tailors: Worn Flop Hat, Leather Duster, Laborer Overshirt for female characters or Lautnip Shirt for male characters, Leather Pants, Military Half Chaps, Leather Gloves, Bandana and Worn Roper Boots.
