Is Red Dead Redemption coming to PC?
No. The original Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare are already available together on PC. Rockstar announced the PC release for October 29, 2024, and named the Rockstar Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store as purchase channels. Rockstar’s release announcement and its Steam announcement establish the release status.
That makes the headline’s suggestion that a first PC release could be near outdated. The more useful question is what a later Steam listing update actually tells us.

SteamDB’s record for Red Dead Redemption, app 2668510, lists Windows support and shows a latest record-update timestamp of October 2, 2026, at 17:57:13 UTC. This is a timestamp for a change to the Steam app record, not a confirmed announcement date.

The specific field or file changed at that time is not established here. Without those details or an official announcement, the timestamp does not confirm an upcoming port, remaster, major edition, or other release. SteamDB can show listing metadata; Rockstar’s own announcement is the stronger evidence for whether the game has launched.
