When did REMATCH come out?
REMATCH launched digitally on 19 June 2025. Steam lists Sloclap as developer and Sloclap and Kepler Interactive as publishers, and PlayStation lists the same date for the PS5 version. Steam describes it as an online multiplayer football game built around fast-paced 5v5 matches. See the Steam listing and PlayStation listing.
What was the later physical release?
On 9 October 2025, Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe announced that REMATCH: Elite Edition would be available as a physical retail edition from 14 November 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC. The announcement specified distribution in EMEA, Australia and New Zealand. This was a later physical release, not a new digital launch date. Is another REMATCH release date predicted?
No future release date is established by the official sources checked. The official REMATCH news page lists Season 5 updates, including a hotfix dated 2 October 2026. That shows post-launch activity, but it is not an announcement of a new platform launch or another edition. Check the official REMATCH news page for any later announcements.

How popular has REMATCH been?
Sloclap reports that REMATCH surpassed 6 million unique players within three months of its 2025 launch. The studio does not give a more precise measurement date on its official studio page.
