As Ada Wong, clear the sewer route by using the EMF Visualizer to trace power lines to electrical boxes, then overload the box controlling each fan, door, or lift. Keep moving when the Tyrant appears, and follow the energized wires during the timed Incinerator escape.
Get the EMF Visualizer and shut down the first two fans
- When control shifts to Ada, examine the ladder beside the ventilation fan to obtain the EMF Visualizer.
- Point the EMF at the nearby power line and trace it to its electrical box. Overload the box to stop the first fan, then climb through and continue along the passage.
- At the next blocked passage, use the EMF to follow the line to the box on the right. Overload it and pass through the disabled fan, then drop into the lower area.
Open the door and reach the upper walkway
If a zombie blocks the lower route, avoid it or briefly stagger it; spending time or ammunition to kill it is not necessary for basic progression. Trace the door’s circuit with the EMF and overload its connected junction box to open it. The nearby file Sept. Inspection (Week 1) is optional.

In the next room, follow the route to the west-side electrical box. Use the EMF to power the lift, return to it, and ride it up. Continue around the upper walkway to the door, then use the EMF on its power box to operate the lever.
Get past the Tyrant and through the fan
The Tyrant follows Ada through this stretch. Open the door with its powered lever and keep moving rather than stopping to fight. At the next door, use the EMF on the junction box above it to disable the fan beyond. Pass through the broken fan opening.

Take the ID Wristband and escape the Incinerator
Follow the route to the Incinerator and take the ID Wristband from the body inside. The door then closes and starts a timer. Use the EMF to overload the connected boxes in the order shown by the energized wires.
The hack sequence is not fixed, according to GameWith’s walkthrough, so do not rely on a memorized box order. Watch which wire lights up, trace where it leads, and overload the box at its end. If a component does not respond, check that you have followed the line to its source instead of repeatedly interacting with the fan, door, or other obstacle.

Continue to the bridge
After escaping, return through the route that has opened, enter the Treatment Pool Room, and follow it to the bridge.

Treat each blocked door, fan, or lift as a circuit-tracing puzzle: scan for the visible power line, follow it to the junction or control box, and overload that point. Ada’s sewer segment is designed around this tool; Gamer Guides lists “Use only the EMF Visualizer to complete Ada’s gameplay segment” as the condition for the One Slick Super-spy achievement.
